Trump Administration Accomplishments

My bad. My math was off because I forgot it takes 4 worthless bureaucrats to do the work of one decent person.
You give the bureaucracy too much credit. At the minimum, they would require:

At least a dozen department heads on a committee to appoint a subcommittee of 15-20 to study candidates to ascertain who is qualified to be on the "project finance committee", which will deliver a report to another subcommittee to study and recommend a budget to the treasury to form a "funding committee" to go to treasury to get the money. By the time six hundred government grunts have perused it, and worked it toward the original BIG BOY committee, they will have to review to see if the new administration will be pro or con, and if they have built in enough kick-back funds to push it through the new legislature.

^And after the Big Boys review the draft report, they will find at least ten key assumptions that need to be refined before going forward. It will go back to the working committee to make those changes before the final review. Bureaucracy at its finest. :brickwall:

He is right, but there is actually a bigger problem here that the Supreme Court needs to fix. As most know, the Department of Education doesn't actually force very much policy. It hands out money. However, the left wing midwits in the agency come up with left wing policies and regulations that become the basis for who gets money and who does not. Furthermore, they come up with left wing "guidance" that other left wing midwits willingly adopt at the state and local levels to make sure they have the "latest and greatest" woke garbage in their curricula and practices.

In order to preserve the federalist system, Congress should not be able to use federal money to impose or favor any policy that it couldn't impose with its own power. That means no education policy. And yes, it also means no federal speed limits on highways that don't actually cross state lines. And yes, or means states can go back to an 18 year old drinking age.

This is a great point. This is how most of the agencies get their way without actual legislative input. Financial enticement or coercion is often the tool that is easiest to employ.

I sure don't like the tone DJT is striking with his Ukraine/Russia pressers. This is 100% on Putin and Putin should not be rewarded or pacified in any way. Resolving the Ukraine/Russia situation by caving in is not "winning".

No blame for western countries who wanted Ukraine into NATO before the war?

I don't like being the one pointing this out, but this is certainly not an accomplishment. First it was the Nuclear Security Employees that had to be brought back and now it's the researchers working on the Bird Flu virus. If this thing is mutating it could be a disaster to the food supply. If I know anything from doing consulting it's you better have your ducks in a row before you start laying people off. This is not good.

If you are suggesting that inviting Ukraine into NATO is somehow justification for Russia invading Ukraine, that is incorrect. Russia is 100% to blame on this and any spin DJT wants to put on this is just BS. Russia doesn't get to dictate terms to other independent nations just because they are "in its orbit".

In order to accept this BS we would also have to accept China's assertion that they get to determine activities in the SCS and the surrounding countries.

Not unrelated, we also don't get to dictate to Greenland and Denmark regarding long settled territories. The fact that the artic melting makes Greenland more attractive doesn't give us the right or authority to annex them by force or coercion.

No, not a disaster. No evidence eating eggs from an infected bird transmits the virus. Also the virus is mild for humans.

What I implied but maybe didn't state well enough it that mutations could also kill other animals and that could be a disaster to the food supply as well as other industries. The virus has already been found in dead cows.

I'm not worried about it killing me.

It apparently transmits via wild geese. If so, there is no point trying to contain it.

Actually, it is 100% on Obama who let Putin take over Crimea without any real consequences. Then Putin did it again in the eastern part of Ukraine under SloJoe.

Ukraine is pissed they didn't get invited to the Saudi Arabia talks which were not peace talks. Trump has already told Zelensky what he is doing, and Zelensky's tirade was for mostly European (so the money and equipment will keep flowing in) and domestic consumption. Ukraine's constitution prohibits peace talks while the country is under martial law (which it is). Thus a cease-fire is needed so Zelensky can cancel the marshall law and real peace talks can begin.
