Trump Administration Accomplishments

This DOGE stuff is getting interesting. If a quarter of what I'm seeing on FB turns out to be true, then DJT may indeed be the POTUS many of you think he is. If they can really show the Chelsea Clinton theft via USAID to the world, it will blow the democrats out of the water for 3-4 election cycles.

Peggy Noonan recently suggested that, as a demonstration project, the Democrats choose one of the large cities they run….and actually try to govern it. A non-starter, sadly. Those cities, as I’ve written, are run for the benefit of their employees. And too many of those employees are selected according to identity, not merit.

The trick with Social Security is always the transition plan. The younger generation will usually support. It is those receiving the payments now that always push back. To get change someone will have to convince the retired generation with a good plan to transition off.

In theory this is true. The tough part is that while the older generation is extremely focused and organized, the younger generation is usually too dumb and apathetic to care. The program is literally ripping them off of hundreds of thousands or more. They find the time to ***** about weed, access to Internet porn, and student loans, but they largely don't care that Social Security is giving them the 14-incher with no KY.

You got the younger generation correct, but each day more fall out of the working generation which means at some point there is going to have to be a hard cut-off at age 18.

However, for those of us who are retired, our retirement plans (unless you are a retired government/railroad employee) are based on our current SS payments (even those with other retirement programs contain a factor for current SS payments). None of this can be changed.

Fully changing over to another worker retirement program will take at least 75 years from the date a new law is enacted.

Adding to the confusion now is the only thing SloJoe did right - allowing SS payments to Government employees who worked in the private sector during, before, or after their government service. School teachers in Texas finally will be able to collect SS payments based on their non-teaching SS payments into the system plus an SS survivor's benefit. The issue is the "efficient" Social Security Agency is claiming it could take a year to calculate each affected person's back pay and ongoing monthly pay. I guess the SSA's PS2s are overworked.
