Why not shift work or school hours? Seems like a simpler method than changing the clocks for everybody.

The only real problem with this is kids going to school in the dark and cold way too many days in areas above a line equal to the Oklahoma northern border across the country.

Mother's that care about their children have issues with 5 to 9 year olds waiting on a bus in the dark. Not everyone can take their kids to school before they go to work.

Then delay the start of school by one hour during winter. This isn’t hard. Schools should adjust their schedules, not the rest of the world.
