Trouble in Paradise?

CLASSIC!! Takes me back to the early 1960s when all of us did that to or bikes. We thought we were bad-asses!
We would start with one card in the spokes. Later in the day we would have six or more. If one is good, more has to be better! Those were good ol' days.

SN,

A good thread in the off season would be "whose baseball card did you used most often on your bike".

Seemed like I got 40 cards a week of (IIRC) a Phillies pitcher named Ken Lehman.

I wonder how many DiMaggio rookie cards (among other VALUABLE ones) were trashed in bicycle spokes...
A friend of mine in college used one of his dad’’s ‘old’ baseballs for a yard pick-up game. He was about nine at the time. Turns out, they smudged the signature on it irreparably,,,,Babe Ruth. Very luckily his mother got involved so he saw 10 YO.

S'mofo butter layin' me to da' BONE! Jackin' me up... tight me!

[Subtitle: I ATE SOMETHING THAT IS MAKING MY INSIDES CRAMP UP]

The cards would wear out too quick so my dad made us plastic cards by cutting them out of a Clorox bottle. I thought he was a genius.

Elton John?
No - was making reference to "The Sandlot" where Smalls takes his Dad's Babe Ruth-signed ball to the field with his friends and they play a game with it. Bennie "The Jet" hits it over a fence into the neighbor's yard. Guess not too many "Sandlot" fans here...

Oh I knew, that was my shot at humor.

I'm a fan.

Aggy apparently on verge of losing their best LB - Cooper. He is the real deal. Texas should grab him at all costs.

Is there a Harley store in College Station? Asking for a friend.

My brother and I played a game with our Cincinnati Reds 1975 World Series Champions autographed ball - Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Sparky Anderson, Joe Morgan, Ken Griffey, Sr…..ahhh, youth. It’s wasted on the young.
