the level of self flagellation over on Texags is epic, far surpassing what we saw during the Fran meltdown. They are blaming everybody short of God Himself for the hiring, for the extension, for feeling good about poaching a top name coach from a top name program, for not realizing what a horrid mistake they made in feeling optimistic; then they go off on the pathetic offensive line, the lack of first rate quarterbacks, the failure to start Weigman at the start of the season (I agree with them there, but what do I know?), the fans leaving before the massacre is over, the effect this sinkhole of a season is going to have on recruiting or even retaining what they already have, etc.

It is a cause of some joy, I grant you, but there is some great intentional humor as well, as there usually is. It has been pointed out that they can take pride in being the best six loss team in the country.

In the future those who hang around will be on a pedestal with the Junction Boys no doubt

Part of me thinks Jimbo is a clown but I also think he may just be daring Aggie into a moral victory by paying most of the guaranteed money but not all so he can buy West Virginia and coach there.

I've seen the reports. if both are true, aggie may have a tough time w all remaining teams. DA was the entire offense. Even w the discovery of a starting QB, he has no one to hand the rock to much less throw it. The transfer portal will have a maroon out.
