Ultimately, they're massively bitter that Hispanics (who they thought would be their ticket to political domination) ultimately didn't buy their ********, and they have a hard time acknowledging and reckoning with it.

Cubans aren't like other Hispanics. But Mexican-Americans in South Texas are also appearing to be fed-up with the BS. The problem is the abject poverty and they always respond to cultural ***-kissing and freebies.
Most of us don't live in a world where it's ok to beat off on zoom calls either.
Toobin isn't wrong though. They do live in different worlds and rule differently. Republican judges tend to care what the law actually says more often than Democratic judges do.
Having said that, I haven't read the opinion, so I can't judge it, and the people ripping her are doing so entirely for partisan reasons. However, I do think it's a crock that a 33-year-old chick who had never tried a case was nominated and confirmed to be a federal trial judge. That's pretty absurd, and it's going to be pretty hard for lawyers in her courtroom (virtually all of whom would be better qualified to be on the bench than she) to have much respect for her. I'm not saying they'll be rude or hostile, but they won't have real respect.
That's what I think too and that other tweet with the NY Times reporter seems to confirm it but WTF do I know sitting here on my computer? But it makes no sense that they would act that way.

Add in the fact that I own AT&T stock, and so now I own Warner Brothers Discovery due to the spinoff. I have the additional reason to be happy because the company isn't wasting more money putting lipstick on the CNN+ pig.
