The Media Industry

Speaking of CNN, Joe Lockhart referred to Ben Shapiro as "not human."

Just imagine if a conservative referred to any Jew in any context as "not human." His career would be over in about ten seconds.

Toobin had an affair several years ago . The female got pregnant and he told her if she did not get an abortion he would make her regret it.
She did not. He refused to pay any support even after she took him to court. He finally did have to pay.
He is a despicable human being.
Was it not a coworkers daughter?!?!? I thought I read that somewhere.

Surpised he didn't go full 3rd Reich and call him "sub-human".

No worries for Joe, no Jewish organization will complain about anyone on the left. Remember, almost all Jewish organization are leftist first, Jew second, maybe third.

And you know your article is complete and total shyte when even Antifa rises out of the dumpster to fact-check you -- lol

But perhaps there is some good news on the horizon, CNN missed its profit targets by $100-$120 million
Paging Mr. Zucker

“When Mr. Kilar succeeded John Stankey atop WarnerMedia earlier this year, he carried out another overhaul in August that took away from Mr. Zucker oversight of CNN’s finances and human resources, as well as communications—an area run by one of Mr. Zucker’s top lieutenants, Allison Gollust. The changes annoyed and surprised Mr. Zucker, the people familiar with the situation said.”

AT&T closed their $85 billion purchase of Time Warner, which became WarnerMedia, in 2018, following resistance from the Justice Department. Many attributed the delay to President Trump’s feud with Zucker and CNN; the administration denied influencing the case.

AT&T’s stewardship of WarnerMedia has been rocky. The rollout of HBO Max did not meet expectations. In August, WarnerMedia chairman Robert Greenblatt exited after little more than a year on the job. WarnerMedia is tasked with cutting costs by as much as 20 percent, which means there will be turnover across the company. AT&T took on considerable debt in the purchase of WarnerMedia, as well as in their purchase of DirecTV for $48.5 billion in 2014. DirecTV has been rapidly losing subscribers. As of the end of 2019, AT&T had over $150 billion of debt.

AT&T is definitely not in danger of going out of business, but there are big changes on the horizon. While the Wall Street Journal does not present it with absolute certainty, it looks like Jeff Zucker’s time at CNN will wind down after the election.

The same media that refuses to look at the ever growing pile of Hunter Biden material was all over this stuff
It's the same exact people

Another good American Think article if you like this sort of thing

Media Firemen Scramble to Save Biden Candidacy
Watching the media scramble these last two weeks to save Joe Biden’s candidacy, I am reminded of a scene in Ray Bradbury’s 1953 dystopian sci-fi classic, Fahrenheit 451, 451 degrees Fahrenheit being the temperature at which paper burns.

In the novel, the state employs “firemen” to burn paper lest the few civilians who care about books avail themselves of information the state does not want them to have. During the Biden stretch run, the firemen on the left have shredded what is left of their reputations as journalists to destroy information the Deep State does not want their audiences to have.

Even before Hunter Biden’s laptop surfaced, the media busied themselves suppressing information that was readily available to the ordinary citizen -- montages of Biden plagiarizing, groping little girls, making racially insensitive comments, eulogizing exalted KKK cyclops, threatening Ukrainian prosecutors, even sexually assaulting at least one very credible Democrat -- and they did so with enough success that the Biden camp felt comfortable positioning Joe as the candidate with “character.”

Uh oh. With AT&T looking to dump assets due to the debt from the TimeWarner deal, Investment Bankers are supposedly talking up the possibility of Jeff Bezos (Amazon/WAPO) buying CNN. I was hoping for a takeover by someone honest.

Sounds like a good fit. What else is Bezos going to do with all his money? Buy another secret underwater headquarters, like a cheesy Bond villain? He does look like Blowfield these days.

All those billions, and dude is still sending out pictures of his penis. Sad.

Greenwald gives up on the Intercept, which is his invention
They refused to publish his criticism of Biden
Is he the least honesty lefty in media?

He will do well when Trump wins. I heard Biden campaign is threatening media with access to Biden administration if they write bad things about Biden. The whole media is covering for Biden. This is why I say the race is Trump vs the media. The people know it and they don’t think it is fair.

He started the company but apparently doesn’t own it.

Yep. Like a lot of these web-based media outlets, they are started by journalists, but there's a money guy. He gives a lot of leeway to the journalists, but when **** hits the fan, he's in charge. In the case of Greenwald, the money guy is this First Look Media group. I don't know that they're necessarily trying censor Greenwald, but they're probably deferring to the liberal hack journalists who think Greenwald should stay silent.
