Well, at least it might make for some good camping for those of yall making the trip. Or if you're adventurous, you could hit up The Grand Tetons/Yellowstone/Jackson Hole. It sucks that Arkansas backed out. I had a blast on Dickson Street partying with the Hogs back in '04.

Texas will replace its scheduled 2009 football game against Arkansas with a road game against Wyoming on Sept. 12, a source familiar with the negotiations said Thursday.

It would be unwise to dismiss Kansas so quickly. They may not be as good, but Mangino is a large part of their success.

Actually I do think he is doing a great job, and they should not be discounted.

Count me in as someone who would like to see a bit more of a challenge in our schedule. I am not suggesting Miami, tOsu, UCLA, and Tenn as our schedule but atleast a BCS conf lower half team like a Miss St, Northwestern, Maryland or Oregon St.

Austin population - 1.7 million

I'll trade Arkie for the great state of Wyoming any year. I think it's positively wonderful that we don't have to go back to that Fayetteville hellhole any time soon.

I have been saying for years that Mack needs to make some inroads into Wyoming recruiting.

Again, until there is a playoff there is absolutely no logical reason to play teams like USC, Ohio State or LSU in the non-conference schedule. None.

We will still sell all of our tickets for every game even against teams like Central Florida and Louisianna-Monroe.
