Texas vs Baylor game thread

There was a pretty good turnout by Baylor fans that could be seen in the eastside, endzone and UDW.
The tickets were easy to purchase.
My guess is 20% in our section and more in others like endzone.
Go Horns!

100% wrong Mr. Less than 25 posts.
Ha! I was waiting for that.
Though the comeback would have been more effective had you not F’ed up your use of the copy-quote thing like a noob.

But you are right. I don’t like that <25 mark. With every post I hope it goes to 50! Then I’ll really be somebody!

Probably not.

By the way, Kudos to our TE Wiley for a great game yesterday.

He’s fearless going deep and mid-range over the middle. A man his size running full speed would actually put the hit on the DB instead of vice-versa. He could be like Russ Francis — a TE that many DBs were afraid of.

Wiley also thinks like a QB as that’s what he played in high school.

FWIW not a single player moved from the center of the field until after the EYES was done.
Had a bet with the BU fan in front of us that bet half the team would leave the field.
He paid before he left.

A big win for team unity. Everbody had heard the story of Sam alone for 2 weeks.

Team win, team unity, Go Horns!
See what can happen when just one person stands for something and does it in a manner befitting a leader.
Some others should take notes.
Sam will live in Longhorn infamy.

I thought the defense played hard, offensive line blocked. Baylor is not a good program right now. Ok State next week, separate the men from the boys.

I did not think it uninspired by the players but I did find some of the offensive sequences unimaginative, which really irks me with the talent we have at WR and at TE.

If you post a lot you are a sage?

baylor has good athletes, saw a lot of good focus, lack of penalties, our d line played well. Solid win.

It reflects genuine interest in the program. Seriously, 7 posts in 17+years?
You can measure genuine interest how you choose, I suppose.
Perhaps it’s more that I choose to post only when I have something good to say. Unlike some, I_don’t_exist.

But I guess we can all agree that this post, number 18 of mine, is slightly better than my last one. 1000 more or so and my posts might be as erudite as yours.

That “probably not” that I didn’t bother to respond to was particularly clever.

Profile shows registered 17+ years and 7 posts. You want to take them seriously be my guest.

I take posts seriously or not based on the quality of what the person said in that post, not based on the quantity of other things the person said. If it were a tally of contributing posts and not all posts, then I might pay attention to it. As it is, I currently don't even notice the number is there unless someone points it out.

One can hope Texas didn't want to show any more than they needed to getting a win over a weakened Baylor team. With a huge game coming up next week the Eyes of Texas may have been upon OSU, instead of focusing on Baylor...We can hope, can't we ??? Otherwise we get rolled next Saturday....... I personally think the Big 12 is just really really weak this year. How do you lose to Arky State, Louisiana, nearly lose to HBU.... Then the front runners struggle to beat some of these teams who lost to or nearly lost to shitbirds....OSU is well balanced and OU is gradually improving and will be tough to beat come December. KSU is a solid team and could make some serious noise... At this point I expect KSU and OU to play in the Big 12 title game. Predict KSU runs the table to finish first in the standings. I expect OSU will lose to KSU and OU giving OU the tie-breaker to advance to the title game. Sooners get OSU in Norman and OSU has to travel to KSU. Texas can get in by running the table and OSU knocking off the Sooners. Tall order with OSU, KSU, ISU, WVU on the front burner !!!! When has OSU ever beaten the Sooners when we needed them to ?

Not really. I know people who bleed burnt orange, attend games, buy the gear, donate to the program, and read HF daily — but never post. Hardcore fans.

I always found it weird when someone takes pride in their number of posts on a forum.

I TYPED WORDS ON A WEBSITE MORE THAN YOU HA HA HA #WINNER

I just wanted to add to my post count — which probably would be 50,000+ if not for the Great HF Crash several years ago — so I will say it was refreshing to see tackles made, even if only by hanging on to the ball carrier’s feet.
