Texas-Vanderbilt Game Thread

Horizontal passing game working so far. Must be building confidence in Quinn. Eventually gonna hafta throw downfield before long.

Pretty basic defense….outside containment means the runner does not get outside and gets turned in to the other 10 players by the D player…no…3?
Some things never change.

#3 made a terrible play on containment on the Pavia scramble. It wasn't a bad angle per se, it was it was the fact that he didn't rush outside-in. The DT was rushing inside-out. This is basic football that apparently Texas doesn't coach anymore.
What??!! You mean the infallible Coach k may not be able to walk on water??!!!

I agree. Defense was horrible on the V td drive

Better. I sure hope we see Ewers throw the ball down filled this game. Vanderbilt is overmatched defensively. We need to see if we can do something other than the dink and dunk strategy. That will work today. Obviously it won’t work against a very good defense like we saw last week.

Our defense takes the field very confused. It’s the first time since 2 weeks ago that they have started the possession on this end of the field.
