I think Augie's leash on Taylor was one batter on base and then he gave him one pitch saw that he was a liuttle wild and thought if I am going down it is with my best closer.
so, what say ye experts. Does Taylor always stretch so much, or was he tight? haven't seen him this year, looked tight to me starting around the 6th inning.
No prob with the disagreement Gem. I guess I just felt Taylor could still go, hell I honestly think he could have gone all the way. He had a few pitches that weren't close but that wasn't enough for me to pull him.
I've also noticed, there have been a number of times when Ruffin has come in that he gives up a hit or two and a run and it concerns me. I don't get to see every game he pitches, but seen it enough I always have it in the back of my mind.

i agree with horn-n-la. it seems taylor's pitch count was low. ruffin doesn't allow earned runs charged to him, but even in yesterday's game against u-la-la, cole was charged with a run scoring off of a hit allowed by chance. but, the bottom line is wins, and we won yesterday. hopefully, we'll win tonight and on to the supers. augie knows a thing or two about wins by the way.
