Texas v. Baylor April 22-24, 2022

He walked Faltine! Bases loaded. Hodo up. Now Baylor’s coach, catcher, and pitcher are on the mound discussing the weather or something.

Ivan almost got him one, but that wind worked against us and blew it foul. He takes the walk.

Silas. Double! CF probably should have made the catch. 2nd and 3rd. One away. Messinger up.

Deeeeeep fly ball. Sac fly. Ivan scores from 3rd and Silas to 2nd. Good baseball!

2-3 them

:bevo::bevo::bevo:

Hard line drive to third. Base hit. Daly scores!!

Tie game.
3-3

Andrade’s pickoff move is weird. Looks like a possible balk. He did it earlier even more so.

Infield single on a bunt then dropped ball by first baseman. Faltine scores and Horns have the lead!!!!!!
4-3

And guess who’s up…

Almost turned two but the Baylor batter sure was fast. Tristan still strong in the top of the 5th. Announcers are correct. This ump has a tight zone. Somewhat inconsistent too. Tristan getting some crummy calls that sure looked like strikes. He has been working the inside of the plate really well at times.

Grounder to third puts Baylor away in the 5th w no runs and one runner stranded. Tristan doing pretty well. Meanwhile, Andrade for Baylor is doing pretty crummy and he has a high pitch count. Will Baylor hit their pigpen—that’s what is smells like for the green and gold.

Now Daly will give it a shot.

Andrade has 90 pitches in the bottom of the 5th.

Called 3rd strike.
