Texas v. Aggy March 29, 2022

Something just seems natural when the aggies blow it by shooting themselves in the foot making errors…

Just saying…

BRAD RUDIS
6'0" 195 lbs
RHP
3.75 ERA
1.50 WHIP
10 Strikeouts
6 Walks

Throws fastball up to the low 90s. Decent curveball.

6-foot, 170-pound frame with strength throughout. Working from a high-¾ slot, with a long, loose arm stroke and polished delivery, all three pitches come out of the same window. His fastball has good arm side run... Shows great feel for a 10/4 breaking ball with tight spin and good depth at 71-74 mph. Changeup was 73-76 mph.

Good second inning by Justin Eckhardt. But Eckhardt is just too worked up. Dude is almost hyperventilating out there on the mound. Relaxation techniques. Put some headphones on him in the dugout playing Enya, bring in a trainer for message in between innings, or something.

And Another aggie error!?!?!?!!!!!!
Ags are a very poorly disciplined team.
Coaching.

Eckhardt has some really good stuff when he’s on a roll. Gotta watch that control and getting behind batters.

And lo and behold, Eckhardt beans a batter…

Silas has a talk with him. No doubt They’re on the mound discussing the level of the Fed’s next interest rate hike.

Great grab and throw by Skye. Saved a double or triple. More good fielding by the Horns.

Maybe we see Sthele, Harrison, or someone else soon. Coach may let Eckhardt pitch next inning against the bottom part of the ag lineup…????

Houston drilled him. Pitched 3 innings against Auburn. We may see him for an inning or two. Throws fastball in the low 90s. Works a slider and a change-up. Was known as much in high school for his bat as for pitching. His dad was his high school baseball coach in Anna, TX. Likes to go up high and fast for the strikeout.

6'2 180lb RHP out of Van Alstyne, TX, Wiry arm up to 91, gets on hitters quick. CH is very effective with a ton of fade to RHH.
