Texas State - 2 game mid-week miniseries

SS catches that throw down, Shoos would have been out, he looked like he was carrying a load of bricks in his back pocket running down to second.

Better lucky than fast...

Although Shoos is pretty fast for a catcher.

Tumis with 42 pitches. Above average efficiency. Keeping it under an average of 15/inning.

Tumis' WHIP is down to 1.28. That's getting into some really good territory. Opponents won't score many runs without many base runners.

Groundball single through the right side - opposite of the shift.

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

That's the way to do it. If they run a big shift on you, hit to the opposite side. Gotta develop that skill.

Bobcats' coach to the mound. They're arguing about who can knock down the most shots of tequilla without passing out. Real Texas State stuff there.

Powell

Grounds out right to the pitcher--ouch that looks like it hurt the pitcher. Runners advance to 2 and 3

2 away.

They're switching pitchers. Bush looks hurt, plus he was putting multiple runners on the bases.

Enter Seay to the mound for the Bobcats. His numbers are a tad sub-par.

He's a Brazoswood guy. All this clean air in Central Texas is a shock to his system.

Single to LF. Runner held at 3rd.

Bases loaded. One out.

Coach goes to the pen. It's Luke Harrison.

Luke Harrison pitched very well as a true Freshman. He hasn't been quite the same since his injury. But maybe he still has it--we'll see.
