Anyone who told me the defense would hold ou to 10 point in the first half would have been laughed at.

Defense has played well enough for Texas to be ahead. Offense has played timid. Ou d-backs are holding our receivers on every play.

If we can get into the half only 2 scores down, we are not out of it. We cannot play any worse in the second half on offense. And if we contain Hurts in the 2nd half we have a shot.

Imagine for a moment...

What if I told you that Dicker the Kicker would put not one, but two through the uprights...and even though one didn't count, it showed that Riley still kicks puppies and is only up by one score.

And what if I told you that Texas could tie on the first possession of the second half...

Its mind boggling how our D has not been prepared for Hurts' style of running!

Texas only had 7 in the first half against LSU and put up 31 in the 2nd half. Herman took over the playcalling in the 2nd half. Herman has to do it again.

I think we are going to have to go up tempo in 2nd half but I imagine Herman is embarrassed about our run game so he will try to get that going but we will have only minimum success. Up tempo. Take some shots downfield. Plus quick hitting passes did I say up tempo. Duvernay duv duv.

How do you know that? Not disputing it, just didn’t know that something like that was publicly stated.

So OU has 260 yards, 107 of which is Hurts running. We basically shut down everything but his scrambles. They aren’t pushing over us, and their receivers are not running loose.
