Texas @ OU 01/02/2025

Refs call Not as bad as I thought.
Tech on Oldeacre
Intentional foul on Booker
Intentional foul on OU player

TX ball

I thought ejection for Oldacre plus some tech fouls on Oldeacre and Booker which would have put OU up a few points.

Wish Booker could have had a more remarkable game. Now that she's in foul trouble, I don't see the team being able to rely on her skills in the fourth.

"More remarkable" game ?..
Id settle for a good game from her.

First of all cover your ears... the referees totally f_cked this game up for both teams. I think they had their whistles stuck in their asses instead of in their mouths, because it seemed like every time one of them took a step their whistle blowed. Okay... You can uncover your ears now.

What a gutsy, gutsy big time road win especially given the fact that Booker probably had her worst game ever wearing burnt orange. The way we stuck to the game plan, showed patience in the half court offense, and kept after them defensively creating turnovers... and overcoming all that adversity! I cussed like a sailor the entire game, but I'm definitely happy for this win.

Somebody ask Vic in the presser if that’s the kind of reffing we should expect to see in the SEC from his previous experience lol

That was absolutely the most unsatisfying win. Those refs were the worst. I am thrilled for our women but completely unsatisfied as a fan. The women’s game deserves better. Our players more than earned that W. Wow. Just wow.

As suspected, two players off the bench Oldacre and Lee stepped up big time tonight. Carlton didn't hurt us on defense, but she did miss shots that are normally automatic for her. I'm glad she got to play those extended minutes, and see how physical it really is in the big girl leagues. I think this was a very important game for her in terms of experience.

The last foul against Texas really did it for me. The refs blow the whistle because "there must have been a foul", but we have to look the replay to see who the whistle was meant for?

Please.

Probably the first game Texas won that I don’t care to relive by watching a replay. Those refs did no service to WBB. I can understand the casual viewer being turned off and tuning out

To watch a game as poorly officiated as that is extremely frustrating, but to have watched that 2.5 hour turd and have lost to a rival would have been enraging.

Glad to the win, glad for the girls, glad I can sleep tonight.

Woohoo!!! I don't really care at this point how pretty it was, I just felt like we owed them one after last year. Mission accomplished. Go Horns.
