Agreed. Not looking good. Our defense is so easy to attack. We pressure and extend on the perimeter so much, it is a simple thing to drive to the basket, to black door us to death. When we get beat, this is usually the reason why. The press is a complete waste of energy with teams as quick as OU. Hasn't gotten us any turnovers, but makes us even slower to get down court and get ready to guard.
 
Okay, things are settling down a bit. Texas has the foul advantage this period. It's helping to close the gap.

Texas with a 14 pt turnaround in the 2nd Qtr. Have we ever seen a Vic Schaefer team amass that many freshman minutes in the first half of a conference game? Highly doubtful. And they did a great job! I don’t think the rotations are going to be as tight this season as we’ve been accustomed to and I’m cautiously optimistic. We’d have a bigger lead if Carlton was hitting buckets like her usual self.

All in all, I’m very pleased with the first half considering the early foil troubles.

Well, Oklahoma is back in the game thanks to the refs. All their scoring in this period has been from the free throw line. Will there be anyone left to play by the end of the game?
