We had some uncharacteristic play from Atwood, which won’t happen again. The small rally is enough to build on and it gave Maxwell lots of pitches. The snag by Mahoney was huge and hopefully kickstarts her.

If Maxwell pitches game two and we can’t adjust to her we deserve to lose. If she pitches two and we win, can’t imagine that she’d pitch game three. So I think Kelly doesn’t start game two. I was shocked to see Laly in G1 after going through all our other pitchers. I think we go with Morgan for G2. But either way I’d expect a higher hitting game.

I’m still super optimistic. I think we can beat the Sooners tomorrow and then, I think we can beat Maxwell again on Friday.

Good points. I'm a lil concerned defensively. Going to be lots of pressure to make the plays.
I don't know what to think offensively. They have pretty much shut down our offense for 2 straight games.
Guess we'll know where we are within the first couple of innings.
