Sweat again makes a statement for all American award winning season.

Did he come in as a 3 star?
gonna miss that guy next season.
He made himself several million coming back. Hope Collins uses his covid year (I think he can) and does the same thing. Be the man for a year and go make 1st round money.

In the first half we had more penalty yds including the punt return taken back then ISU had in yds. Hard to win on the road with just horrible officiating.

Nice 26-16 win. Texas overcame a lot of questionable penalties that took away a couple touchdowns.

The refs called some garbage time penalties against Iowa State in order to make the penalty stats look more even, but Texas was clearly hindered by bad calls most of the game.

I'd call that an ugly but gritty win at a place we all knew was going to be tough. I do not expect any pretty wins with this team. But winning beats the hell out of losing.

Would those of you who whine about the officiating every week please stop.

The shade thrown at this defense by some on this board is a bit much. 20 rushes for 9 yards, 16 points allowed and got the stops when needed. Easier to criticize defense when offense doesn’t score as much as you’d like
