SLEEPLESS in SEATTLE

...Colgate? a street near Hobby? YES, I know exactly where that is....that area was "transitioning" in the mid-70's, maybe sooner....my parents stayed in the house I grew up in until the mid-80's and moved out to Clear Lake and near NASA...beautiful area out in the trees....

I moved to Clear Lake in '88 to work for Exxon downtown. My wife lived in El Lago and also worked for Exxon, where we met. After we married in '93, we lived in Clear Lake till '95 when we moved back to Austin. My brother still lives in CL and works at NASA. Our house in CL and my brother's house are both in the Oakbrook West subdivision.

I think Oakbrook is across Space Center from my parents' old neighborhood....Bay Forest...isn't El Lago where all the original Astronauts lived?

You are correct, Oakbrook West is bordered by Space Center, Pineloch, El Camino, and El Dorado. Our house was on Cobre Valley. My brother's house is on Brookpoint.

IDK about "all" but many did as it was just up NASA Road 1 from the main entrance to JSC.

my parents good friends lived down the street from Scott Carpenter....a HUGE deal at the time!
 
I don't know. I was thinking I could take the one on the top left, 3-4 bottles of Clorox, 5 bars of Lava soap, couple of industrial scrub brushes, with a trip to Fact to Bake for a "paint job" and she might clean up ok. Probably couldn't make her behave, but that's true of most women.

Sabre, with all due respect .. all those industrial strength cleaners you suggested and a great amount of East Texas scrubbing ain't gonna clean up dem ******* to be even 50% public anytime in their lives!!!

I was thinking the same thing. These people need money to live. Drug addicts looking for their next meal or fix are willing to do whatever.
 
Did she give up her opportunity to replace Jennifer Anniston in Hollywood to serve the people of Portland? What a selfless sacrifice for her and gain for the people of Oregon.
