SJS vs Texas

:brickwall: Duplantier throws a wild pitch to the ******* back stop and scores both runs. Spartans up 5-4
I can only assume that the metric for evaluating pitching performance is the opposite of producing pitches over the plate.

This is Craig Way's fault. He's spent a lot of airtime today talking about how Texas could win the conference. This team won't win a conference title this year.

long fly ball to the gap in right center field and EK made an outstanding effort to get it in his glove as he is diving and just couldn't hold on to it. Spartans get an insurance run, 6-4. Shaw was pitching to the last two batters.

I don't know about sucking but its disappointing to put Duplantier in a tight game for him to give it up so easily. Not sure why coach chose him so early in the weekend series. Don't remember him doing that

couldn't ask for a better set up offensively to get this done though, so the top gets it done or doesn't here....Powell up right now with 1 on and 1 out

dang it and Powell strikes out swinging, good pitch, ball starts on the inside and ends up out of the zone. campbell up.

crap, Campbell flies out to end the game. second friday in a row Gordon isn't able to get the win.

For those not watching, that’s SJSU first major conference win since February 2022.

The pitching blew the lead, but that was a poor offensive game.

That performance makes it look like Texas isn’t interested in being in the post-season and are just going through the motions.

coach is finally fed up with it I guess. Trying O’Hara at SS. Someone has got to be able to play solid defense AND be more productive at the plate

Campbell with a big hit, literally inches from being a HR, standing at 2nd with Powell on 3rd. Pitching change already.

Not sure who all is not watching the game but its 4-0 Texas after a big 1st inning, i missed it myself. Currently with 2 on, no outs and G wagon at the plate.

Here’s where this team grows. School is over. Time to focus entirely on baseball.

We have capable hitters. We need consistency.

Pierce needs to choose wisely. He’ll have to overcome some stubbornness to do that. That’s with the pitchers too.

if the weather ever heats up, we’re more set to benefit from the ball carrying.

Agreed, i don't understand why he went with Duplantier in the last game, that was a poor decision by Pierce in my opinion and possibly cost that game.
