He is coming back.
I tend to agree. And if he comes back, that would make him one of the most legendary, ************* Longhorns of all time in my book...He is coming back.
Probably depends on who else is coming back
I'm with @WorsterMan here. Who wanted him gone? Some of us have had legitimate observations about his passing skills and decision making at times. I believe none of us have ever questioned his heart or loyalty. So, who are the knuckleheads? One more year, Sam
If he comes back, I’ll take some screen shots of the knuckleheads here who wanted him gone to repost about this time next year.
Oh I had some fairly continuous conversations here, lemme do some researchI'm with @WorsterMan here. Who wanted him gone? Having a running game might get him back. Hopefully Roschon and Bijan go for 350
Look, I was not actually going to post the knuckleheads verbatim as everyone has their opinion- just poking tff he em to see if they wanted to chime back in hereOh I had some fairly continuous conversations here, lemme do some research
I do agree with this.I would SCREAM so loud Run The Ball that Tanner as shown in my avatar would go outside. If he does come back, let's see the same game plan that we saw vs KSTATE. Short passes, good run blocking for Johnson &Robinson. Let the short passes and running with your 5 star back set up the play action fake to throw over the top. But we won't see that happening, we will see the 25 yard out called on 3rd and 6 because Coach Mensa knows more than all of us. He thinks that between the hashes is a illegal play or a QB sneak is illegal too.
Before our golden retriever went to doggie heaven she would panic when she heard Craig Way's voice. She knew I would be yelling soon.I do agree with this.I would SCREAM so loud Run The Ball that Tanner as shown in my avatar would go outside.
I hate to be a bearer of an ugly prediction, but re covid, 2021 will look IDENTICAL to 2020. I personally think the nation is in an overreaction, but I am outnumbered by far, especially among our decision-makers. 95% of USA hasn’t even been exposed yet; if 2020 was about that first 5%, don’t you think at least another 5% will still be exposed no matter what else is happening on vaccines or cures?I think it really depends on what his draft stock is like and with the struggles he had its hard to see him going in the early rounds. I would love to have him back and with a full spring to get the offense and a full off season without the covid craziness perhaps he can improve significantly his draft stock.
Oh yeah I remember those threads. Okay.Look, I was not actually going to post the knuckleheads verbatim as everyone has their opinion- just poking tff he em to see if they wanted to chime back in here
Go look at these 2 posts, there were more arguments I had, but I can’t find them right now.
My favorite- and these are thread topics chocked full of Tom foolery-
“QB Stuff”
More nonsense:
“Sam Ehlinger hasn't gotten any better since his sophomore year”
Someone stated that Sam was only starting because he was born in Texas....geez.
And if Sam comes back does Card or Thompson hit the portal?Without Sam, our QB room is quite thin, and has very little game experience
For once I agree. And if Sam comes back does Card or Thompson hit the portal?
Maybe Sam IS coming back and that's why JQJ transferred.
Our QB room could look even worse if he does return and then what does it look like the next year when he does leave?
I love Sam and his passion.
But I'm not convinced his return is the best thing for this team in the long run.
Sam loves the school, loves being the quarterback for UT, may not have any aspirations to play at the next level and knows as long as he’s here, he has no competition. So no incentive to get better, to prove anything to NFL scouts. Just one more year at his dream school doing his dream job. He’s not ready to give that up.
Chris Simms says hi.This kids been through more nonsense than any other player in the history of collegiate athletics.
Chris Simms says hi.
Yep.You mean interception in the flat for a TD at the most critical part of the game Simms?
