If the people in the photo are actors and the whole thing is staged, then certainly it's fake news. Is there any evidence of that being the case?

How about if the photographer asked or encouraged the woman to grab the 5 yo diapered twins and " run"?
would you consider that faked?
If you look at the larger picture and see other camera people taking pics of people "fleeing", running toward a camera for instance
But when you look at the rest of the people in the big pic and there is no urgency or general fleeing shown would you considered the pics faked?

I'm with Horns6721 on this one. It doesn't take actors to make this fake. The wider zoom picture shows a cannister emitting smoke out in an open field with the mom and 2 kids running at a safe distance away from the smoke. That means the photographer had them walk towards the cannister meaning they were never in harms way. Totally misleading.

They could be actual refugees that the cameraman instructed to run past the smoke bomb. Don't know if that happened, but that would constitute "fake news" in my view, since it's depicting a non-existent state of fear and urgency.
I don't know if that's happening here, but it seems like she's the only one in sight who appears worried about anything. Frankly it looks like this was shot well after the initial confrontation, unless border patrol lobbed a smoke bomb in an area where no people were standing.

You all are talking about this as though it was staged. Does anyone have evidence that it was staged? If yes, let's see it. If not, then let's quit engaging in speculation.
Never said that it was staged. However, it's ridiculous to compare something that could have happened(MSM staging) to things that are not possible to have happened(Pizzagate). Husker is basically saying that it's impossible for this to have happened. Sorry that I didn't make that clear earlier.

I know Husker is a convenient boogieman, but he didn't bring this issue up, and nobody is saying it's impossible. Of course anything is possible. Even Pizzagate was possible.
The issue for me is that some of you are talking about this as though it's more than literally possible but plausible enough to suspect it and take it seriously. So I simply asked if there's evidence to suspect it. I have not seen any provided.
I think the reason many including myself think it is plausible is the sheer number of vids and pics of the horde as it moves up Mexico showing the vast majority of people were men.but the organizers made a point of putting women and children in some of the pics for the heartstring.value.

The leaky border is leaking. Two dozen migrants breached the wall last night. Some tried to evade capture, but most wanted to be caught so they can claim asylum.

I have every confidence that this with a political agenda in promoting open borders (or defacto open borders) are exploiting the photo. Furthermore, I have every confidence that the photo gives a false impression of who's in the caravan. It's doubtful that the typical person in the caravan is a woman or a child. Like I said, the same shenanigan was played with the dead Syrian boy.
However, that doesn't mean or even suggest that the photo is fake or somehow staged. There really was a dead Syrian boy on the beach, and there's no reason to think there wasn't really a real woman and her kids running from tear gas.
You're woefully overreaching and speculating. Let's remember what a photo is. It is a snapshot of an instant in time. It's not a video. If the woman was closer to the gas than the others were (and it looks like that was the case), then it makes sense that she would notice and respond to the gas quicker. Again, this is an instant in time. We don't know what the others were doing even a split second later.
Of course there was a real woman and kids there. I have never suggested otherwise.
Everyone knew the organizers of the horde would make sure there was.
The question is did someone else urge to woman to rush to the border and take children with her.
