He has all three RBI's tonight on two HR's and Rangers lead 3-1 in ninth inning.

Neftali on for the save. Gives up a two out double but then fights back to strike out Abreu and preserve the win.

Rangers win 3-1 and get their club record 96th win to go with club record for attendance and what has to be a club record for division play of an amazing 40-17 against AL west opponents this year.

Rangers will host the ALDS against the AL W/C winner still to be determined. TB got a two out solo shot in the bottom of the ninth and has come all the way back top tie the Yankees at 7.

Rangers complete sweep of Angels, get to 96 wins (30 games over .500) for first time in team history, and get home field for ALDS. Outstanding! Bring on whoever...

Scott Van Pelt with 2 great quotes in the aftermath on Sports Center:

"I've said it a million times and I'll say it until I'm dead....sports are better than anything else....always."

"I want to vomit and I don't have a dog in the fight."

Last year we had Nip Nip Weiner and we upgraded to Nap Nap Weiner, who had 26 HRs going into last night and hit 4 bombs in 2 nights for 30. Anyone else notice that Nellie almost went deep right after Nap's? That would have given him 30, and the Rangers with a quartet of 30 HR guys (along with Beltre, Kins and Nap). Josh is #5 on team with 25. 5 guys with at least 25 HRs!

Mitch the *****, Young, and Murph are also in double digits. This team is loaded, and I love them.
