Prosecuting Rittenhouse Is Completely Unjust

I don't think the prosecutor actually wants to be there. Kenosha County has a Democratic DA, and he doesn't want to get primaried, so he had to push the case. However, you'll notice that the DA is nowhere to be found even on a very high-profile case. When a politician is avoiding a chance to be on camera that should tell you something. He dropped this nasty turd sandwich in his subordinate's lap and said "good luck."

Part of me feels bad for the guy in the courtroom. I've never tried anything blatantly frivolous like he is, but I've had to try some ****** cases that I didn't want to try. It's no fun.
So...my theory holds water?

Nice lawyer speak there lol.

Barry, people died because they came after him, and at least some of them intended to inflict death or serious bodily injury on him. That was the main cause of their deaths, not him having a gun. Had he not had a gun, he would have gotten the crap beaten out of him or worse.

It's astounding how hard it is for you to criticize rioters.

I wouldn't want to be a 17 year old with a pedophile chasing me either.

Possibly on purpose? Manslaughter? I would need to look at the varying levels but people died because he came to a riot with a rifle.

People died because they people came to a riot with a gun and threatened to murder someone with it.

But making an unwise choice to get in there in the first place does not extinguish one's right to self defense.

Exactly. If I walk through an alley known to be a center of gang activity, and some goons come after me threatening to end my life, do I suddenly become guilty and they become innocent all because it was unwise for me to walk down that alley? Obviously not.

Does a woman who dresses like a ***** become guilty if she gets sexually assaulted? Obviously not. But in this insane politically charged climate, people can talk themselves into utter lunacy and hypocrisy.

It reminds me of when a bunch of women got raped in Köln on New Year's Eve when I lived in Germany. Generally when women get sexually assaulted, liberal politicians and commentators say it's totally unacceptable "victim shaming" to question any facet of her appearance, actions, or judgment prior to the assault. She can be running around drunk, naked, and humping random dudes' legs, and nobody is allowed to say, "hmm, maybe she shouldn't have been doing that." However, because the perpetrators were a bunch of Muslim dudes going on a mass sexual rampage, the same kind of politicians were saying German women needed to think twice about what they wore and how they behaved in public. Standards and consistency are nonexistent. The agenda is everything. Same kind of crap with Rittenhouse.

These jury deliberations are like when a football instant replay drags on. If it takes this much time to think it over, then it cannot possibly be "conclusive video evidence" or "beyond any reasonable doubt".

Nick Sandmann encourages Rittenhouse to consider suing. Link.

Rittenhouse isn't a hero now, but if he goes after these toxic, disgusting media outlets and really clobbers them, he will be. I don't want him to settle for garbage and go away. I want him to go for big money and prepare for a long, appellate fight to get the ****** cases overturned. If he commits to that, conservatives and all kinds of people who are tired of having a media of dishonest, self-righteous ******** should bankroll him - fund his attorney's fees and ensure that he'll be rich even if he ultimately loses.

It's often difficult to get 12 people to see things the same way, and there's a lot of pressure to render a unanimous verdict (no hung jury). My guess is that things were conclusive for some of the jurors. Others at least initially bought the "he started it by bringing a gun" BS and need to be convinced.

Withholding evidence is serious, folks.

Damn, if the State of Wisconsin could sue its prosecutors for malpractice, these guys would be in trouble. You can't screw up this badly by accident, can you? There has to be an OU Law alumnus somewhere on that prosecution team.

Watching the protestors in front of the court house. It astonishes me how many people have nothing better to do with their time then to protest these "social justice" grievances.

Welfare checks arrived on the 3rd, it's been two weeks, the money is gone, mosey on down to the courthouse and wait for the riots to start, then grab all the free ****.

One has to be working in order to be worried about finding time to invent stuff to put on signs before setting fire to a downtown area. Most of those 'protestors' don't look like the type who work...

Rittenhouse trial aside, it's hard to see how one side perpetually threatening riots in the face of jury deliberations is the sign of a healthy judicial system.

She is wrong. Jury deliberations indicate the judicial system is healthy. Attempts to intimidate a jury via doxxing and riots indicate an unhealthy segment of the populace.

As usual I’m way off base cause I thought that was sorta what she was saying in that quote. Silly me.

It seems likely, with all the threats that the jury may be debating their and their family's safety.
Would it change things if white people also threatened the jury and to "burn" Kenosha down if he is not acquitted?

Aren't they? The riots last year trended whiter than a randomly selected group of liberal-identifying people would.

'QAnon Shaman' is sentenced to over 3 years in prison for role in Capitol riot (msn.com)

Seems excessive to me but I guess they need to make an example out of him to keep others from storming the capital in Viking costumes.

Buffalo Guy Wishing He Had Just Burned Down A Car Dealership In Kenosha Instead

I don't think his sentence is excessive. However, I do think he's getting a longer sentence in part because he looks like a freak. My understanding is that he got one of the longest sentences of any of the Capitol rioters. However, though he looks like a freak and did enter illegally, I don't think there was evidence of him getting physical with anyone, causing significant property damage, or stealing anything.

Again, I don't think his sentience was excessive. However, there were much worse actors that day who should be getting longer sentences than the face-painted redneck Viking or whatever look he was going for.

I wouldn't have trouble with the sentence if:

1) People who were burning **** to the ground got the same sentence or worse
2) If these so-called insurrectionists weren't actually being invited in by the capitol police
3) Garland would tell us just how many FBI agents were in the crowd, which he failed to do under oath.

Just reported that an individual that told police he was with msnbc ( producer), has been detained for following the bus taking the jury to a safe place last night. He was ticketed for traffic violations while chasing the bus.

James j Morrison was detained, gave the name of a woman that directed him to follow the bus. Msnbc so far has not confirmed Morrison works for them. The judge is not allowing anyone associated with msnbc into the courtroom until an investigation is completed

There's also suspicion that the individual was trying to photograph the jurors.

Given the shaky mental state of most of these people that want to lock up the kid for self defense , it wouldn't surprise me if he gave out the msnbc tie in to (laugh) be able to get out of the mess he's in
