Leaked Border Patrol documents revealed the Biden administration has released a massive amount of illegal immigrants into the U.S. this year.

The documents obtained on Wednesday, show more than 160,000 illegal immigrants were released since March, often without any oversight or supervision. Specifically, about 94,000 illegal immigrants were released with “Notices to Report,” meaning they must check in with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) only after arriving at their final destination. That group specifically, is protected from deportations as they await immigration proceedings.

Put aside the merits of the proposal for a moment. Democrats are doing a terrible job of selling their plan. What's the big thing that most people know about it? That it costs $3.5T. There's very little discussion of what's in it or how it would even arguably help the public. If your biggest selling point is what something costs, you're not doing it right.

Nobody cares. It's sick. I know I use the word sick quite frequently, but there is a mass psychosis going on, similar to college football fans who enjoy the vicarious pleasure derived from the exploits of mercenary strangers, even if they were paid under the table contrary to the rules. People are so eaten up with how they feel that the money and accountability only matters when judging the opposition. Liberals are hypocrites. Their veil of goodness is in reality a mask for their obsessiveness. It's not healthy.

Trump did not tell people not to vote. He's predicting that they won't vote. I agree though that he shouldn't be bringing the subject up.

He didn't say "don't vote," but saying what he did is passively telling them not to vote and it only takes a few people to get that message to swing the election. We don't control the Senate today because of it.

If that's true he's cutting his own throat. Perhaps this is what DeSantis needs. Trump's not an articulate guy so are you sure that's what he meant?
 
The full statement says "“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented),Republicans will not be voting in ‘22 or ‘24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”

I don't read this as saying don't go vote. I read this as this will happen if we don't fix the problems.

He's putting the idea into people's heads. In politics, predictions can be self-fulfilling. Regardless of the semantics of what he said, this kind of talk is the last thing the party needs going into an election year. Whatever fraud he's claiming to exist should have absolutely no bearing on the '22 midterms or the '24 presidential election, and it should never be discussed in that context. Again, we've already tossed two Senate seats over it and are having to play defense on a $3.5T **** sandwich because of it. We can't afford to toss more.
