Here is a lesson in economics for everyone. I'm going to La Jolla next month and was looking at the restaurant menu's in a couple of places and I found this nugget:

Mediterranean Restaurant in La Jolla Cove - La Valencia Hotel

"Split plate charge - $5 | *A 5% surcharge will be added to all guest checks to help cover increasing labor costs and in our support of the recent increases in minimum wage and benefits for our dedicated team members."

There are other restaurants with the same message. Raising the minimum wage is a tax.

Seriously, this is economics 101 and if this increase causes customers to look elsewhere then the other tenant of Economics 101 will be shortages of labor because the hotel will lay people off.

This is just anecdotal evidence of the facts on the ground. But this is what people should focus on and not fraud at the election booth. But, that's what they want you to do. They want you to appear to be an extremist. The voting was not the problem. The problem is the cancel culture used by the media and blogosphere to absolutely brainwash Liberals to hate Republican's and they feed off of arguments put forth by the right that cannot be proven. Instead, you should focus on the Liberal agenda, which is so destructive and hate-filled that they should have been crushed at the voting booth. It is sickening to me.

Wise up; it's coming and if you don't argue and put forth EASY RATIONAL arguments about the unbelievable patronage plan that is being put forth then we will be doomed.

So the restaurant does or does not expect you to tip your server? Or the price you pay for your meal hasn't been adjusted to cover the cost of doing business? What a BS way of virtue signaling.

Look at this:

April jobs report: Payrolls rose by 266,000, sharply missing estimates, as unemployment rate increased to 6.1%

The "Economists" blew their prediction by a mile. Remember, Yellen is basically an Economist and the Liberals want to believe her when she say's $6.0 Trillion of spending will give us a return that justifies raising our debt over $35 Trillion. This is the same person to have taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from the likes of hedge funds such as Citadel (re: Robin Hood meme stock fame).

Liberals believe... and they will say this is the Trump economy now. It was Biden's until today because they like to pretend good news is theirs.

Although she actually follows some absolute economic truths, that's not the first time she has been wrong. If not for Trump, she would not have achieved what is hailed as her greatest economic triumph, low unemployment. Yet, she criticizes Trump.

We know that people will spong off of giveaways all day long, but to a Liberal, this is to be denied because vote buying is the only way they can be a party to be reckoned with. Otherwise, their extreme sick detached views would result in landslide victory after landslide victory by the Republicans.

An apt analogy is one who eats until he vomits (Roman banquets) when it comes to government giveaways vs one who eats for healthy living. The Dems can’t help themselves at the feeding trough.

The sad thing is having to 'remind' States AND the bums of ANYTHING...it has LONG been the requirement that those who receive unemployment benefits were to be seeking gainful employment AND provide proof of such efforts.

Just like it's always been illegal to immigrate outside the process. But these things are only to be manipulated for brain-washing purposes. You'd think Trump was the first President ever to enforce our immigration laws.

It's insane. They take the most common sense and wisdom and lie about it to your face.

Pretty accurate statement from Sen Sasse.
 
I was listening to someone who said he was knowledgeable. He explained thst the pipelines sent fuel to tank farns from there it goes to gas stations.
He said tank farms typically had a months supply so there is no reason for the gas stations to be out in 5 days. Maybe someone on here knows about pipelines and rank farms?
Now Biden is apparently waiving the Jones Act.
Guess which country has tankers ready to carry fuel to East coast?

Coincidence? Of course it could be.
 
So Russian hackers cause shut down of pipeline and now we learn we’re importing more gas from Russia than we are from Alaska and Horn67 reveals the above about tankers? Holy Smokes, we’re really in a pickle.
All hearsay here so don’t come after me for my ‘sources’.
