A lot of pork for others when many American citizens and taxpayers are struggling with unemployment and this ongoing pandemic.

He is incapable of speaking and he will get the liberal pass to never answer to his actions (like drooling, slurring words, etc). It's sad and pathetic where the left has gone because Lord knows if Trump even misspoke one word he would be crucified on this board and all over social media for it and possibly even impeached again.
 
They are scared to have him in front of a camera and no ability to rein him in...report just a bit ago is that Biden's border visit took place YESTERDAY! With no cameras apparently or we would have seen the footage.

It is time for even the most hard-core lefty to admit that Biden is NOT the one running the nation...well, at least not anywhere except into the ground by way of his signature on crappy EO's.

A visual (progressive) breakdown of what's in the Covid Relief bill. It is supposedly based on CBO numbers though.

I'm certain there is a lot of pork in that $45B. Not sure how I feel about Renters and Homeowners getting $40B. FEMA doesn't belong in this bill either but that's par for the course in these big omnibus type bills.

$178B more to schools? And my daughter just sent us another fundraiser request for grandkids. I had to laugh considering I hear there are Billions still not distributed to schools from CARES.
The $350 B to States is aggravating as well.

And I just saw this morning that Cleveland teacher union is refusing to go back to in-school instruction. They have been given a metric phucton of money already. They don't WANT to teach is what it comes down to at this point...

The Blue State Bailout is also appalling.

At least it appears the bill did away with actual per-child checks, or we would have YET ANOTHER crisis in about nine months...

There are 37,000 schools that need the HVAC systems upgraded to limit COVID spread. Honestly, as much of a germ factory as they are, this should be a priority for community health. I'm going to assume your grandkids fundraiser is not to improve the HVAC system at their school.

Cities don't have the benefit of going into debt like their State/Fed brethren. Their only option is to cut services, typically essential services like police, fire, road upkeep, etc. The hole in B&O taxes is blowing an unrecoverable hole through these budgets. I'm not convinced that the "state/local mismanagement" is anything more than a talking point.

We had a company leadership zoom call last week and our virologist advisor at Johns Hopkins did a presentation. He said we should be into 70% herd immunity by June or July and life should go back to normal. There is also a drug company who apparently successfully modified a vaccination that is showing success against all strains of covid. I'm kind of surprised that isn't all over the media except they don't like to paint a happy covid picture. There is no need for the fed to pay to replace 37,000 air conditioner systems. If the local community deems it necessary let them vote on it themselves.

I guess you have NEVER in your life seen a bond referendum then...it is what MOST cities, counties and school districts do when they need funds for capital improvements.

And given that students are generally viewed by science as NOT being at risk, then the whole HVAC overhaul nonsense is just another excuse for teachers to continue suckling at the government teet instead of actually doing their job!
