I was stunned last year.

I was beyond stunned, shocked and chagrined... I was angry after the opening loss last season. MD had all kind of issues and distractions off the field and the Horns squandered it....

Yes they screwed up the Maryland Game. I failed a test in HS once or twice. Don't mean anything now though. They will play much better than against Maryland last year. This team is much better now than a year ago. I expect the defense to struggle in the first half and get better in the second. Offense should be good against those 5'9" corners and brand new D Line.

After the Maryland loss two years ago, Texas did not take them lightly last year... Texas just played like crap on defense half the game and when they finally got their heads out of their ***, the offense screwed the pooch with turnovers. Same thing could happen this year vs La Tech. Texas must bring their A game. "Winning is hard."
