A bunch of AntiFa and BLM storm the capital after a Trump win. Here's what would happen:

1) The narrative would have nothing to do with an insurrection. It would be deemed as proper outrage due to an unjust system.
2) A black woman gets shot and killed by a white officer
3) The whole narrative with this incident becomes about racism.
4) The white officer goes to prison for murder.
5) The MSM and libs start questioning if we need to purge the Capitol police or even get rid of it.
6) This incident causes more riots and burnings/killings across America.

There is immense power if he wields it. I'm not getting the sense that he is holding out just to squeeze power out of the process. I get the sense that he really believes that many of these Dem priorities are wrong. I'm not one to give pols much credit for being principled and I generally think there is always a personal gain angle, but in this situation, it really does feel like Manchin and Sinema are holding out based on earnestly held beliefs. they are both almost certain to get primary challengers now and a whole lot of MSM and BMD action against them. that doesn't seem like the right move if you are in it for the power.

For now at least, Manchin seems pretty clear that he has no interest in moving out of the Democratic Party. Keep in mind, MotherJones.com is a far left site so they may simply be trying to put extra pressure on him to serve an agenda they favor.

That's my belief too. They sacrificed Powell's career to sell the Iraq War based on flimsy/made up intelligence. Of course Powell should have had the courage to say "No, I will not say that."

That site is dead man walking. They used Open Source software (Mantador) and called it "proprietary". Per the ToS of the open source agreement, they need to give all the software back to the user community. They won't which means they'll be DJT won't actually own Truth Social when all is said and done because he'll be sued into oblivion.

The ToS for Truth Social are a hoot. Can't talk ill of Truth Social and several other things or you are in violation of the TOS. Like most of what DJT touches, its the execution doesn't match the claims.
