Post Right Wing looniness here

Not ready to go there. Regardless, he's lied on many fronts. He was never accepted to Annapolis or West Point. He's lied about the crash that resulted in his injury where he makes his friend, the one that pulled him out of the car on fire and save him, the villain. Cawthorn's 1 Semester in college was riddled with multiple girls claiming he was a predator. From the speeches I've seen him give, he has less grasp on "truth" than Trump, which says eons.
Oh I don't think he thought she was a foreign agent. He took a guys trip to Norway or some place similar. They took a spur of the moment trip to a Russian casino. It turns out there are no legal casinos within a thousand miles of the place so it was likely an illegal casino. He met a guy there who was a US veteran. After they returned home, this guy got him to come to Miami to meet him at a crossfit competition. When he got there, there was no competition but he wanted her to meet this girl from...Russia. It's a VERY sketchy story.

A video has resurfaced of Rep. Madison Cawthorn saying he met his soon-to-be ex-wife at a 'fake CrossFit competition' organized by a US Army captain he met in Russia

Tell you what...if you can advocate for pushing those assclowns to the wayside I'll do the same on the left. Too many politicians that aren't really worried about legislating but simply shouting loud enough to more easily incite people to donating to their coffers.
Maybe we are on to something here. Maybe we can give each side 6 preemptory challenges to deselect one politician from the other side and we can ban them from the island. If it weren't for the outlier nutjobs on each side, we might be able to get something done.

It definitely looks sketchy but I didn't jump on Eric Swalwell and his Chinese connection so will be consistent and stay on the sidelines on this one.

Just not willing to accept Cawthorn lecturing others on "family values" when he hasn't demonstrated mastery of them himself.

Swalwell got out after he was debriefed.

Agree on the family values douche.

Or she realized he was too dumb for her to gain any info. Like I’ve said before, they all, with very very very rare exception, are all a**holes with only $$$ as their objective.

I think there are (or have been in the past) altruistic politicians. Tom Osborne jumped in then got out after 1-2 terms because he felt nobody was actually interested in legislation. The longer they stay in office the more 1 of 2 things drive them: $$$ or power. To get either in Congress you become a ***** to the party, to big $$$ interests or simply other politicians.

Regardless, he's lied on many fronts.

I think the argument could be made that his entire career is a lie. How many people voted for him because they assumed he was a paralyzed veteran? Obviously, he is paralyzed, and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. However, if you put together his appearance, persona, and the West Point rap, you know people there's no question that people got that impression. I've always accused Greg Abbott of "playing the wheelchair card," but Cawthorn took it to a totally different level.

Yep. Cawthorn was nominated for the Naval Academy by Rep. Mark Meadows. He also admitted in a sworn deposition regarding the settlement of the accident that his application had been declined by the Naval Academy before the accident (only 1 in 5 get in). My son applied to Georgetown and had an interview with them. They ultimately declined his application. In no way shape or form should he declare himself a Hoya or claim that he wasn't able to go because of anything other than his own merits. Cawthorn was homeschooled all the way through Secondary education. It's very likely that he didn't merit an appointment to Annapolis. Hey, he did land a sweet gig as Mark Meadows' sponsored (controlled?) politician.

People who pretend to be affiliated with the military when they are not and have not been are despicable, Cawthorn included. People who pretend to valor have a special place in hell

Cawthorn did admit in 2017 he was nominated for an appointment to Naval Academy but also admitted he was rejected.
If people are saying he got elected because voters thought he went to the Naval Academy
It is hard to believe that admission of rejection was overlooked in 2020 when he ran for Congress.

On multiple occasions Cawthorn has claimed he didn't attend Annapolis because of his accident thereby attempting to create empathy for his plight from the listener. We know for a fact that isn't true. His application was denied before his accident.

On the campaign trail Cawthorn said "I got into the Navel Academy but couldn't go". That 2017 admission was uncovered as part of his sworn testimony.

He's also stated on multiple occasions that his friend "left me to die in the crash" which we also know wasn't true because his friend pulled an unconscious Cawthorn out of the car which was on fire, saving his life by all indications.

Cawthorn has repeatedly twisted his narrative specifically to suit his political aspirations, including throwing his HS best friend who saved his life under the bus. He's not deserving of any North Carolinians vote.

After the Borat episode Rudy G should ban any discussion of his bedroom from his lexicon. It is nice to know that even after getting his law license suspended in multiple jurisdictions, admitting he lies to the media, and that he doesn't have the time to check out the veracity of the evidence his clients provide, Rudy is still out there with his *** waving in the wind.

Guiliani and MTG are easy targets for Right-wing looniness. They are simply loud-mouthed individuals that are out to lunch most interviews yet are too dumb to realize that they are being used by the media as entertainment value more than anything else. Who knows, maybe they do know they are simply entertainers.

Instead, let's talk about Stewart Rhodes, leader of the Oath Keepers. His ex-wife's twitter stream is a gold mine of his craziness. Here are a few dandies.

The FBI/DOJ also said that the Oathkeepers forced open the doors at the capital while the video shows that didn't happen. The trial will be very interesting.

I don’t defend illegal aliens. I defend the people who get caught smuggling them in so they can work cheap for Republican business owners and middle class zhits who are too lazy to cut their own grass and motel owners who don’t want to pay the rates Americans would want to clean up rooms and drop chocolates on pillows.

Republican business owners? No Dems run businesses in NY, CA, IL, MI, CT, NJ, OR, WA, DE, etc etc... good to know.

Wasn't that long ago teenagers would cut lawns in the neighborhoods. They were under cut by illegals' cheap pricing in the 80s/ early 90s as I recall. Maybe we ship illegals back and go back to the way it was.

My lawn? I cut it myself. I recall an overheard conversation my dad had in the mid 60s when a neighbor asked him why he cut his own yard when a 12yo will do it for $3. "The day I let someone else mow my yard is the day I let someone else f*** my wife". Made sense then, still does. :smile1:

The smugglers are charged with crimes that will land them in prison. Under the Constitution they get lawyers. I represented insurance companies for decades and even represented some personal injury plaintiffs on occasion. The alien smugglers will at least admit they did something wrong
You're worse than I thought. I'll add ambulance chaser to your resume. You defend mules that take advantage of poor, wretched foreigners by charging them outrageous amounts to help them illegally enter the United States. Congratulations. Great job you have. Do you know how know many illegals died trying to make that journey in the last 10 years? More than 6,500 we know about.

Isn't it odd that you blame Republicans when it is the Republicans that try to enforce the border, and it is Democrat zhits that do not enforce the border and encourage illegals to come across.

The businesses that rely on illegal immigrant labor in Texas are overwhelmingly Republican. In fact, many of them are some of the Party's biggest donors of the last 30 years. I'm talking about homebuilders, large retailers, restaurants, etc. There's a reason why the Texas Legislature, Governor, and Supreme Court have largely been favorable to illegal immigration during that time.

Things are less pro-illegal immigration now in the party, but not long ago it wasn't that way. For example, keep in mind that in-state tuition for illegal immigrants was enacted under Republicans.

They undercut teenagers and massively undercut black men.

I cut my own grass too, but I think this is a little extreme. Lol.

I thought it was a little extreme too. I cut a whole lot of lawns when I was a teenager and I never even met a housewife I wanted to &%$*.

OTOH, a couple of those daughters.

Casually suggesting that the US should send troops into an ally's country to stop their federal government from doing something that our own government has done repeatedly during protests. Candace Owens is one of the least bright political commentators.

Incidentally, she also advocated for us invading Australia not too long ago over their mask mandates.

Only if you think intelligence is tied to race. Do you? If you prefer, I'd put her on par with Charlie Kirk and a few others.

Of course not, but I haven't ever accused a black commentator of being the "least bright".

Harsh criticisms of black people in media consistently come from the Left. Like SNL had a skit displaying Ben Carson as an extremely unintelligent person. That was the last time I ever watched. The only other black person they mocked before that was Clarence Thomas. The Left has a really big problem on this subject.

I know this is an ever changing landscape that is hard to keep up with, but it's not racist if the minority in question is conservative. In that case you can call them whatever you want and it's ok.
Good grief. She can be an idiot just like Maxine waters.
