Screw you.I don't think Blackburn was trying to be nice. I think she thought she was asking a perfect gotcha question. It just wasn't as good as she thought it is was.
See? I was too nice earlier.
Lol, j/k, you could be right.

It's one of the reasons why even when we have the presidency and congress we keep losing the war to the libs. Our RINO leadership has no balls. Like I've said a zillion times the only fight RINOs will take up is to go after Trump and his followers.
Question was fine, answer was idiotic and easily followed up but not done, simple as that. Why not is the question? Polite or ignorant are the possible answers.
Why could we expect her staffers to be able to frame the question like that? Obviously not reading Horn Fans.Nash, the problem with the question is that it gave her the opportunity to give a BS answer that was difficult to follow up on under the circumstances. Suppose she had asked it this way (more like what 2003 suggested).
"I understand that, if confirmed, you will be the first African-American woman to serve on the Supreme Court, correct?" KJB would give an affirmative answer - verbal or at least nod along. "Since this issue has been forced by many in the political class creating a new and very silly ambiguity, I have to ask what makes you a woman?" If she flimflams around and says she's not a biologist, you can easily come back and ask, "then how do you know and how can the President who nominated you know you are a woman?"
Her prior affirmation traps her into answering the question or backpedalling on the main thing that qualified her to be Biden's nominee. She'd have to answer it or say, "Senator, to be honest with you, I don't know if I'm a woman. Could be a dude."
Why could we expect her staffers to be able to frame the question like that? Obviously not reading Horn Fans.
I know I'm an airline pilot, thanks for explaining what contingent means lol.I had to frame questions for the courtroom on a contingent fee, meaning not only was the client's money on the line, the firm's money (and therefore my money and my ***) was on the line. Nothing in government service can compare with that. And I what I wrote here is what I pulled out of my ***. It's possible to do much better.

Lol, you explained it above needlessly. Now you have inadvertently insulted my questionable intelligence twice.Sorry. A contingent fee means the firm's fee is a percentage of the recovery rather than an hourly fee or a flat rate. If the client loses in court, we just wasted at least months and often years of work and take it in the shorts for the case expenses. The client never owes us anything out of pocket. Luckily I only lost 3 times in 10 years of doing the Work of the Lord.
That is true. All theater, bad theater at that. Everyone knows the ending.I’m conservative so I’m biased but I thought most of the questions were fine. It’s politics though. In the real business world we would say, “why does it matter? She is getting confirmed regardless.”
And, we will have one who won't have to answer any questions based on not being a <insert profession here>.Yep we will have a Supreme Court justice who doesn’t know what a female is. Congratulations.
Stop bringing up SH, man, come on.I’m glad I didn’t have to answer that question on live TV. “Alex, what is a *****?”

Sorry but I think the question, as worded was fine. Her answer was so stupid any one, after taking a moment to get over the ludicrous answer, could have nailed her with only “what the he’ll kind of answer is that?” Just saying the “I ain’t a dog ..... “ would have been fine for me. This has all gotten so stupid no one knows what to say.

DJT should have been dragged and had his GOP plate broken for not rallying the party to win the Georgia senate. That requires a team mentality. Narcissists don't do team well. The Democrats have the votes to confirm her. (Neither Manchin nor Sinema are going to throw her under the bus.) We thought it was more important to grandstand over the 2020 election in Georgia than to control the Senate.
Student debt is a gender justice issue.
I heard the claim regarding debt is wrong. It’s more like 50%. I cannot find the link.Women are over 60% of college students now, so I'd expect them to owe the majority of student debt.
These Buick commercials pledging to increase coverage of women sports is what's wrong with equity. The reason women's sports gets less coverage is because it's less popular. Deal with it you *** holes. You can't force people to like stuff they don't like!
