We're really caring about fairness now? The democrats would have done it to our guys but they didn't think of it first. In fact, they did worse things.

The Democrats have done ten times worse. I think the issue is unfair by objective standards. It's not unfair by partisan political standards. The Kavanaugh fiasco is by far the biggest abuse of the confirmation process at least in the last 100 years. Short of threatening KJB with physical violence, there isn't much they could do that would be worse.

I strongly suspect Senate & House leadership will change in Nov. Biden's BS agenda will be severely crippled.... but 8 - 9 more months of harm to the country.

They haven't threatened physical violence. I brought that up as an example of what they'd have to do to out-******* what was done to Kavanaugh.

That is the problem with Republicans. They say the requisite, "Thank you for your service" BS to the likes of Vindman, tap dance around questions to phrase them nicely, and no matter what, the media still attacks them. When will they learn and start playing hardball and stop being nice?

It's one of the reasons why even when we have the presidency and congress we keep losing the war to the libs. Our RINO leadership has no balls. Like I've said a zillion times the only fight RINOs will take up is to go after Trump and his followers.

Phrasing the question differently has nothing to do with being nice, currying favor with the media, or not being labeled. The media response would be the same. The reason to phrase it differently is to lay a snare. She was able to wiggle out of the question much easier than she would have been had Blackburn asked the question @2003TexasGrad suggested.

Point being there seems to have been no follow-up. Playing nice, not digging,. not going for the kill, so to speak.

I think, in a way, we agree here. The questioning was too nice. I mean, how many of us could give a definition of woman in a circumstance like that? It was stupor and nice of her to ask that. Dems would not have done that.

I don't think Blackburn was trying to be nice. I think she thought she was asking a perfect gotcha question. It just wasn't as good as she thought it is was.
