Post Left Wing looniness here

"She (Sunny) claimed that because Rittenhouse had brought the gun to the scene it was reasonable for others to chase him or attempt to disarm him under the assumption that he was an “active shooter.”"

Unless you are Law Enforcement, why would you chase someone who has a gun that you think is an active shooter?

Not a lawyer, but does assumption give you legal standing? "I assumed that person X looked dangerous so I attacked them." How does that stand up in court?

She was a prosecutor? What was her record on convictions and who did she convict? Better than Kamala?

Amazing how many times the "media" says Trump is or was wrong and then it turns out he isn't or wasn't wrong.

These things are no longer that hard to predict. At some point, the Constitution will be attacked in full force by the courts if they are packed by Liberals. They will read "between the lines" (penumbra) and/or ignore it completely because it was written by "racists." There is no doubt about this.

The legal analysis I've seen is that just because you assume someone is an active shooter is irrelevant. If you try to smash their head in and they shoot and kill you as a result, they were still defending themselves. This is why Rittenhouse was found not guilty of killing Anthony Huber.

Hold on a sec. Since when is speaking negatively about ISIS Islamophobic? If "negative" is all it takes, canceling Murad is Yazidi-phobic. What's the Canadian cutoff for allowed phobias against religion?

Yazidism about 1.5 M followers
Islam about 1.9 B followers

Have to hit a billion? Oh wait, Christianity has about 2.5 B followers...

In the past year our household has watched zero minutes of any nba game. The wife used to watch the mavs from tip off to buzzer, no interest anymore (its been decades since my interest stopped).

The NBA is choking out its older fan base in favor of a younger version. They can have it

"The right to peacefully protest..." Are they watching these cities being burned? Do they think we cannot see it?! Now I remember why I don't watch the NBA anymore. Next up, the NFL.

On top of that the modern ruleset in the NBA is trash. You can't play defense anymore.

Sounds like the liberals want to declare the Constitution to be "unconstitutional." Incredible!

The NBA doesn't like legal things?

What I find astounding is that people **** their pants about vigilantism but are ok with rioting and destroying private property. Vigilantism is generally bad and is a symptom of a failing society, but if police aren't going to be enforce order, somebody has to.

Well Guy they certainly claim it’s value to be questioned because it was written by slave holders, so there is that.

This has to be a joke. First, liberals can't distinguish between a dollar amount and a year? Second, a "connection to colonization, conquest, and genocide for Indigenous people" in 1492? Huh, one dude can accomplish all that in less than three months (as they arrived October 11, 1492)? Then third - "especially before Thanksgiving" - not surprised by the liberal attack on Thanksgiving. A day about being thankful, which originated with Pilgrims and the Wampanoag to get along, is now associated with killing? Now we know which holiday liberals will fight to remove after Columbus Day. Liberals can't be thankful or watch others express thankfulness.

It's all about the sacred cows. Liberals insist that minorities cannot be held out as racists because they have no power. So no matter what they say or do, they are immune to these charges as only white males have the power to oppress. That power to oppress then is central to their definition of racism.

So if you are the victim, you have been provoked and your actions are seen in the context of a war. It is about survival and they are immune to judgement and standards of morality are only seen as the tools of the white marauding oppressor.

And yet the so-called "victims" are whiter than I am. I have a Sicilian grandmother. I'm sure there's a Moor somewhere in my background.
