This just didn’t look like a Patterson team today. A very weak effort. Complete with plenty of poor tackling.
 
What was a close game between Mack and NC State has now been blown open. North Carolina has taken its foot off the gas and has its backup QB in the game with plenty of time left in the fourth, leading 45-14. . . . now 48-14
 
The announcers on OU are downright criminal. OU promotion to the point of ridiculous. TCU is not even mentioned. Somebody has got to be getting paid.
 
Purdue, trailing 17-14, had a very good drive going and was in the red zone when a pass went through the receiver's hands and was intercepted by Iowa to thwart that scoring opportunity.
 
3 quarters gone by and Purdy is up to all of 105 passing yards. Cowboys up 21-14. Either this Okie State D is for real and this is Gundy's most complete team since 2011, or the Big 12 is just that weak this year.
 
Iowa has the ball leading Purdue by 3 points with 8 minutes to go . . . Iowa had a good drive going, but its runner fumbled it away to Purdue with about 6 minutes left at about the Purdue 27 yard line. . . . Purdue scores to take a four point lead, and Iowa has 2 minutes to see whether they can answer. . . Iowa can't do anything with it. Purdue is gonna get its come from behind win.

Penn State still has a little bit of time. They have outgained Indiana by 300 yards and are only -1 in turnovers. Not sure how this game is even close. Lining up for 57 yd FG ... no good. Going to overtime.
 
Minnesota blocks Michigan's first punt attempt deep in Michigan territory then tosses a TD pass to the tight end. . . . Then, on the first play of its next drive, Michigan runs it right up the middle for a 70+ yard TD.
 
Indiana wins the all-important coin flip, gets to go second. Penn State scores a TD on their first possessions. Indiana responds with their own TD and should probably go for 2. They do. They get it, I think. Going to replay. Looks like he just barely broke the plane diving and extending, we're talking like a matter of a few millimeters here. :eek: 36-35, game over.
 
I thought he was short stat ... but no indisputable evidence. Thought of our OU game when they went for two in first ot lol
