OTHER GAMES

Whoa! OK, now I get it. You get three points when the kicker kicks it between the yellow stick-thingys.

I’m learning fast so I get gooder at this football watchin’.

And wearing down opposing defenses. Texas d-line was gassed late in the second half yesterday not from Skat, but from chasing the ASU qb all over creation time and time again.

I was going to pull for ND anyway, but especially after all the Dawgs players, coaches, parents and fans erupted in applause when Auburn missed the FG that would have won the game. Screw “em.
LC,

Take a good look at most of that fan base; I'd rather not. As one of my close relatives says, "Name your five favorite diseases"

After 97 plays, absolutely they were gassed. That’s so unheard of, especially at this stage of the playoffs. We have to extend drives. Chew clock. Move the chains. Grind them down, else our amazing D will become mortal.

I can deal with Domer fans. They at least have a classic fight song.

Dawg fans, however, are somehow surprising in their apparent narrow genetic diversity.

Mobile QB - actively mobile QB - is the key to beating teams with hyper aggressive D, like Georgia, ND, and PSU. It’s huge weapon to keep them honest and guessing in each play, and it extends plays, moves the chains….critical for TOP, controlI g the game, keeping Big Mo on your side.
Georgia is particularly vulnerable to a mobile, athletic QB. I can't totally explain it but it's true.

Just 3 plays that really killed Georgia today.
The 2 turnovers and the kickoff return that began the 2nd half.

This should have been a much closer game.

This is what we could have done to Georgia in the SEC championship game if only Sark would do something other than let offense play twister and defense Yahtzee at halftime.

Good night, Georgia. You had a great season.

This is what a good running game will do for you. Move the chains. Chew up the clock. Put the game away.

Not a new concept.

Can Texas if it performs at a Texas level defeat ND?
Absolutely. ND is really good, but has issues as well - 10 penalties for 75 yards.

The 3 remaining teams beyond the Horns will require a nearly flawless game to beat them. We can’t have the penalties, turnovers, special teams issues, and let the other team dominate TOP, run 97 plays….:deadhorse:
