OTHER GAMES

Oregon is in red zone with third and nine with 14 seconds left in the half. . . 32 yard FG is good. 7 point lead. 31-24.

Penn State pulls within 8 again. . . then holds Oregon to a 3 and out. Penn State has one more chance with about 2 minutes left.

Would any of you gone for two after the TD? Clemson had not been able to stop Jennings and the Pony offense. I would have had to given plenty of thought to going for two. Of course, the kick return meant that is discussion for Monday morning "what-ifers"

Exciting game. Having lived through the hatred of the 80s SMU, and even having threatened their coach (give him his due, he promised & never broke that promise), this generation of Ponies is fun to watch, cut from a higher moral fiber, and supported by higher quality human beings, than the scum of the 80s.

Now, if some of you would just stop ABC/ESPN from showing Dickerson and/or James in the stands, I could be a fan of Jennings and what Lashlee is doing.

I would go for two every time if I had even an average offense because it seems to me I would always be at least as likely to make three yards on one play as I would to outscore the opponent in however many plays there would be by both teams in one overtime or two or three or . . .
