OU always gets favorable things like this. No way they should have been preseason top 10 with that doofus coach and decimation of talent, but they were. It's KU, go figure.
 
Watching what highlights of KU that I have I think they are for real. Very intense and fired up squad that is now believing in themselves. That makes them dangerous imo.
 
OU will either be fired up to give terrific effort or deep fried like a state fair oreo,. It depends on the resiliency of coaches and players. They have the near term future of the program at stake.

The Pirate is on a roll lately with good margin wins over Arkansas and the aggies. He’s got them at #16–even better than Kansas.

Rousing comeback in the works. After trailing 17-0 to the Raiders late in the first half, KC is roaring back and now leads 24-20 with time left in the third.
 
West Virginia has good receivers. Texas secondary was very aggressive against them and it helped neutralize but they’ve got at least 3 solid ones

Remember, the betting line isn't about who wins or loses or by how much - it's purpose is to get equal amounts of money bet on both teams, so that the house isn't gambling on the outcome, as only suckers gamble.

A popular team will always get picked to win more, and by more, as a lot of people will bet on them no matter what, and so the line has to be set to make it attractive for some to bet on the other team.

You know the person I quoted is the resident betting expert. I'm sure she knows all that but asked rhetorically. Yes, I am aware as well.

Bettors loved DKR during the 30 game win streak. He covered 29 out of 30 games, Baylor in Waco; that game featured one of DKR's greatest halftime speeches.

The Game of the Century was unusual as you could have bet the opening line on Texas and the ending line on Arkansas, won both and the multiple was huge.
 
My rambling comment:::WVA, usually is dumb. But tonight they were smart by knocking out the Baylor QB. That skinny DB should get the bling crown for doing it.Baylor probably wins with the starter. It wasn’t a bad hit, the QB did a last minute slide, and the DB couldn’t or didn’t brake….#55 Stills made lots of cash tonight. He was doubled and tripled all night and still made big plays.
WV stayed with the run when they were down and gashed Baylor in the end. Usually they panic.

Our best victory so far is West Va.

I’ve been watching bits and pieces of WV games this season when I can. Agree on Stills—he’s one BAMF.
