Just goes to show how important the position of backup QB is.

That was the worst performance by a backup quarterback I can remember. I’m shocked that given the level of recruiting by Alabama every year, they don’t have someone reasonably proficient. The only game I can remember that is even close with respect to QB ineptitude by a highly ranked team would be the 2001 (?) CCG with Chris Simms. But of course, Simms was plenty talented, he just had a terrible game.

If the Aggie DBs could catch the ball, there would’ve been at least two more interceptions, maybe more. And we’re talking about room service picks.

I couldn’t believe what I was watching.
