we got iowa state next week at home

much better defense, but we should come out on top. Sanders is no secret anymore.
I expect Ewers to get hit a few times. He won't be as comfortable in the pocket. But he handled bama well.

Every week is a big test for this team. Pounding the living daylights out of OU was great--cathartic, even--but it's over. If we don't build on it, bring the same level of intensity every week we will be bemoaning our failures once again. And I don't think I'm alone here--I'm tired of waiting for us to be good. I'm ready now.

Agreed. Enough of wins over the likes of ND, OU under Charlie and Binder, Georgia, etc to have it mean nothing.

For the few pro football fans here, great game this morning overseas between Giants and Packers. Giants dominated second half and withstood last minute Packers comeback attempt. 27-22

Iowa State is not a good football team with no quality wins. Play like we are capable, we should hang 40 on them easily. Line is out.

Why Jimbo caled that last play is beyone me. One player had a chance to make the play and it did not look like there were any other options. At first I thought they were going to try that throwback again but no.

Amazed that Jimbo comes within an eyelash of upsetting Bama with the unranked Aggies and catches more hell than Brent Venables.

For Baltimore tonight, Devin Duvernay had 5 catches for 54 yards (plus burned his defender badly for what would have been a 50 yd TD, but the pass was overthrown), plus 3 rushes for 24 yards, including a nice one on a jet sweep where he and Lamar Jackson fumbled the exchange but Duvernay picked it up off the bounce and kept going around the end for a 1st down. Justin Tucker went 4/4 on FGs, including both a 58 yarder and the walk-off game winner.

In a shocking development, the land thieves opened as a nine point FAVORITE against Kansas.

Not sure how that happened, especially since the KU backup struck me as having a modicum of ability...at least if the scoreboard in the second half is to be believed.
