I am still pondering that nonsensical fair catch call that kept the cockroaches from a 20 yard or so return...I saw nothing resembling a fair catch signal. Maybe THAT will be the play that finally gets officials called on the carpet to start doing their jobs properly...or, alternately, gets them a cane or a dog with a harness...
 
Their play against KSU and then again today looks like more than a slump. That and their players are dropping. But TCU is starting to act just a wee bit thugish. I hope we're ready for that bunch...
 
Yeah, it's now or never for Sark at the OU game this year. What's his best win so far - TCU last year? After a year and a half and 5 mill a year or whatever he gets all total, he needs so have at least one win the fans can be proud up. Rice UTSA etc. don't cut it, nor does an Aggy-escue moral victory against Alabama.
 
Remind me if I’ve forgotten, but has OU ever been beat like this in a conference game? (I think USC beat them in a NCG by about this 55-17 score.)
 
Watching Mich vs Iowa. Iowa down 7-20. Trying to come back. 2 sacks and 2 QB hurries from Mich DL! Then they cram it down Iowa’s throat and it’s 27-7 Mich! We need dominant DE’s. We need to force hurried passes late with a narrow lead. You close out teams with OL and DL!
 
We beat them 45-12 in our Title season. Baylor with Robert Griffin won something like 48-10, and Okie State has a 44-10 or so win. Don't recall one quite like this since the John Blake years though.
 
One of the best camera shots I've seen all year--the Ole Miss coach's booth erupting when the defense stripped the Kentucky QB of the ball to save the win near the end of the game. Pure joy. Group hugs. Yelling. Awesome.
 
Waaay off topic...but I believe USC is overrated....And....Has anyone looked at their schedule?? I bet you LC did before taking the job.
I honestly can't remember an easier slate.
The pac is already a joke...and no Oregon, no Washington, 1 ranked opponent.....1,
1 challenging road game (though Oregon St. played real close and could have won) and really nothing worth much...Man that Linc is a lucky/opportunistic dude. I don't like him and think he's been spoon fed. He's now lining up 5star recruits on the back of the hype..based on nothing really but hype.
He took over an already strong ou program, rode 3 nfl transfers then bailed when things got real...now riding the easy hype train and an easy schedule in one of the weakest conferences with everybody throwing praise his way.

The Utah game is there only real challenge, not to say that any of those games they couldn't lose as well. It's from the Pac being such a horrid conference. The sooner it folds up into the Cal/Stanford chase for the Sears Cup, via 47 different women's sport's results, the better.
