UNC recovers the onside kick and takes it to the house (he should have gone down in bounds). App state comes back and scores again, QB tackled at half yard line on 2 pt conversion to tie the game,

And a good win by Florida. Upset the #7 team, albeit from the Pac 12 so they were trash.

It's brilliant. SMU and South Dallas, Oak Cliff, etc. have soooo much in common a simple logo change will surely get casual fans from those areas (and many more) hooked on the program.

Play at least one game vs a good team in the Cotton Bowl each year and give away crap seats for $5 per ticket. Promote the heck out of that game all over Dallas.

I liked them when Dykes coached them, and also when Shane played for them. They’ve lost a bit of luster now. Still, they should play one big game in the Cotton Bowl each year.

We also have to consider that they powers that be at SMU might really, really NOT want to be the team for “all of Dallas”…

That's correct, it wasn't his fault. But to have a lineman miss an assignment and have your kick blocked is disappointing, especially with the game on the line.
