Purdy DOES seem to like to give games away...this time by fumbling the first down away inside of the last minute.Iowa St playing pretty equal with Clemson thanks to Purdy’s passing but absence of Brice will be the telling factor in the end, imo.

Concur about both D and Purdy. And, BTW...what was that poor effort at a spike that led to the quick score by Clemson D...I have seen 6th grade volleyball teams do a better job at a spike.ISU D did well. Purdy not so good. Losing Hall didn’t help though.

No idea why he would spike it up and out instead of down at his feet...
Guess he'll be a repeat customer of the portal. Maybe he can get one of those little cards they stamp each time he goes through...Rattler sucks. He ought to ride the pine wherever he goes.
Agreed, but just saw Heupel as they get ready to kick off the Music City Bowl - muy gordo...Mack looking pretty chunky.
They have had that for a long time...in fact, they got pissy when Notre Dame changed the rules on how bands could enter the field, effectively removing the drum from being used in that game. All right, what’s up with Purdue having a Big Bertha-like drum?

Purdue's big drum dates back to 1921. In 1922 the University of Chicago commissioned C.G. Conn Ltd. to construct their big drum (which of course become our beloved Big Bertha in 1955).They have had that for a long time...in fact, they got pissy when Notre Dame changed the rules on how bands could enter the field, effectively removing the drum from being used in that game.
I don't have a dog in this fight (or any $$$ on the line) but this is an entertaining game to watch. Glad it's not a runaway blowout by either team.Tenessee vs Purdue playing a great game.
