OTHER GAMES

ou will be ranked in the top 4 to start the season. Texas will be ranked somewhere in the 15 - 20 range and will be at least a 14 point dog when they play in October (after being a 4 - 7 point dog to the pig people in September).

It is up to Texas to change this picture.

Lets see how the QB play goes before we start Texas as a 14 point dog. OU will have superior freshman, but other classes are pretty even.

Other than the RRS, OU was 8-2 and UT was 7-2 against the same schedule. Then, we lost to them in four overtimes. Not sure why Hornfans has turned so negative. I don’t like Herman either, but we have played pretty well.

I dont think anyone here is gloating about ou winning over a hapless looking SEC team.... just .02 pride in Big XII.

We all know NOTHING good comes from an ou win.....

Non stop excuses from the espn announcers for Florida. The gators were overrated all year but hey they are the best four loss team in the country.

Aggies will continue to holler, because they get a weakass UNC team in the Orange Bowl.

We rolled a dirty Colorado team

OU rolled a mouthy Florida team

Not a lot of faith that Iowa State can handle Phil Knight U

WV and Army could be playing in a monsoon in Memphis

oSu started to roll the convicts, then took their foot off their neck, but they showed up when it counted.

What I described is how the media will portray the Texas until Texas does something substantial. Texas goes undefeated and gets into the CFP and the media will let up. Until then ou is the king, and Texas is in the media's hell hole.

Florida will be whining that they had 7 guys opt out to get ready for the NFL. We had a bunch of guys opt out as well. But our guys that stayed, actually played better the last couple of games without them.

A few comments:
- wouldn’t surprise me that 3-4 B12 teams are in the top 10 next year
- we lost 7 starters to opting out or injuries
- it may be said that B12 teams took a little longer to tune their offenses and defenses relative to other conferences. Once tuned, the B12 teams are more competitive relative to other conferences.

Gators were under-coached all year. Mullen ain't ever gonna get it done
The general failure to perform by SEC teams in bowl games is so common the excuses roll off the tongues of the crew. Alabama has been the exception and Joe Burrow last year, but across the board, the Sorry Excuse Conference never "dominates" the other conferences in post season play.

I do believe that everyone was in concurrence that the OU sucking was just a whole lot less that the Florida suckage. Clearly they BOTH suck. No righteous HornFans poster would ever believe that OU did NOT suck.

Somewhere, Bosworth is proud. The Sooner hung half a hundred on 'em.
Yea, perhaps he and his sooner cheats of eras gone by can now feel better about the 63 LSU hung on them on the Big Stage last year. My sooner acquaintances have very selective memories about their losses to two B 12 also rans and those of the teams they beat, like FL, that lost to a & m, a very bad LSU team and Bama.

Especially with all the opt-outs, the one thing you cannot claim any longer is that Team X just didn't want to play. Because now, the guys who don't want to play, literally are not playing in the game. The guys who are there are the ones who want to be there.

You can say a team is at a talent deficit, or is too inexperienced, or didn't have the depth. But you can't say they didn't care.
