I just don't see how two teams from the same conference get in, especially this year withe many shortened seasons. Basically the ACC got a freebie, and the CC game was a waste of time instead of the first knock out phase of the post season!

I am still in the camp that ONLY conference winners should be in the playoffs, not the losing teams nor teams that did not make the conference championship game. But in the end it’s just a beauty contest.

I don't like this tv format in the Georgia game.
There is no commentating. Immediately when the play ends music comes on that's either rap music or classic rock mostly rap music. It's hard to tell if that music is television only or if its piped in to the stadium. Also the stadium announcer comes on a lot and he will be brief and short like second down and six is what he'll say. It's almost like it's a concert. Doesn't feel like a game in this format.
Normally I think the commentators talk too much but I actually miss the commentating. I hope this is not the future of football telecasts.

How so?

As in the case when we beat Georgia in the bowl game and Utah the following year. The opposing teams lost their sense of win at all costs. Yes I really believe that. But that doesn't negate the victories for Texas and we can still praise our team for beating them. People may disagree with that but that's fine to each his own.

Nix is very sub-par. Auburn either establishes their run game or gets blown out.

Now Auburn fails on a 4th down. Nix scrambled backwards about 15 yards, then let loose a desperate pass. Incomplete. NW ball.

The new AU coaching staff will need a good new QB.
