Hahaha. I was GAO for 38 years, part of that time in Asia and the Pacific during the 1980s. I was well acquainted with the differences and jealousies among the military services. Yeah.... Air Force was bureaucrats in uniform with some pilots. Marines were Navy's bastard child with a few Kurtz like but very well educated officers. Army was..... well, Army. I ran into all kinds of characters out there, from Thailand to the Thai/Cambodian border to Singapore to Guam to Japan. Empire... I'm no longer a fan of it.
 
Indeed. But don’t start up the old best Mexican food in Texas arguments again. Persons with good taste know that Austin beats them out on that front.

Hmmm, a few things I can think of:

The band Pretenders were from Ohio.

LEGENDARY golfer Jack Nicklaus is from Ohio.

Youngstown OH used to be a great steel town but has been sadly ignored and is a dump.

President Ulysess Grant was from Ohio.

Cleveland Browns used to dominate the NFL. They have sucked for 50 years.

U. Mich. - something to give Ohio State fans to focus on and HATE 365 days of the years, besides their lives.

Nicklaus's teacher was Jack Grout, who was the Pro at Glen Garden in Fort Worth when Hogan and Nelson learned the game.
