Obama's parting gifts to the American people

what the Sam Hill does that mean?

Are you seriously suggesting Ms BHO is grander than Mrs. DJT?

wow.

It it too hard to understand? I'm saying that Ms Obama's Let's Move program had coordinated activities, partnerships and lots of content. No offense to Ms Trump, she doesn't even have a website yet on her Cyberbullying campaign. She's given a few speeches and that's it from what I can tell in her 1.5 years. I'm not being critical of Melania Trump as she doesn't appear to be comfortable in public settings. She wasn't elected but rather her husband was. My response was targeted at Joe Fan's mocking of staff size of each First Lady. One would expect more from Michelle Obama given her larger staff size.

Are you saying the Trump admin didn't alter the program? Not sure your point here. How is this tied to how many staff for Michelle Obama vs. Melania Trump?

To refresh your memory I posted that school districts pulled out of the MO food program
You posted this, remember?
"School districts? No, Trumps White House did."

I then posted several links showing school districts in fact DID pull out of MO's food program years before Trump became POTUS.

Hard to argue that as I said School districts did on fact pull out during Obama years.
Not sure how you think you can waffle on what you posted, that No School districts did not pull out of MO's food program when I provided plenty of verifiable links that they did.
but I am sure you will keep trying.

Fake news?

The interim final rule published today gives schools the option to serve low-fat (1 percent) flavored milk. Currently, schools are permitted to serve low-fat and non-fat unflavored milk as well as non-fat flavored milk. The rule also would provide this milk flexibility to the Special Milk Program and Child and Adult Care Food Program operators serving children ages 6 and older. States will also be allowed to grant exemptions to schools experiencing hardship in obtaining whole grain-rich products acceptable to students during School Year (SY) 2018-2019.

Schools and industry also need more time to reduce sodium levels in school meals, Perdue said. So instead of further restricting sodium levels for SY 2018-2019, schools that meet the current – “Target 1” – limit will be considered compliant with USDA’s sodium requirements. Perdue again lauded the efforts of school food professionals in serving healthful, appealing meals and underscored USDA’s commitment to helping them overcome remaining challenges they face in meeting the nutrition standards.

Ask yourself what was driving the challenges of reaching the sodium level requirement...potatoes. Ag lobby has a outsized influence on the school lunch programs. Not saying children want to eat healthy but our school lunch programs are a large factor in childhood obesity, along with more sedentary lifestyles (read: video games) than when we were young.

Are you trying to say the links I posted showing school districts that pulled out of MO' food program are Fake News?
For instance are you really seriously trying to say this ABC link reporting schools in Ill that pulled out of the program is Fake News?

Really? Dude did you read any of the links?
Here from just this ABC one

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) --
District 214's school board voted Thursday night to drop out of the National School Lunch Program. The north suburban district includes eight communities: Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Wheeling, Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect and Des Plaines.
In a unanimous vote, the six high schools of the district are now out of federal free lunch program -- and so goes the money that comes with it.

What SH is fake about that ?

LOL 3 words, so innocent.

You were the one who posted that School districts did NOT pull out of MO food program. Right? Do you admit that you posted "School districts? No, Trumps White House did."

Even when offered irrefutable proof school districts did in fact pull out years before Trump
you still are trying to waffle and weasel out of fact. This constant refusal to admit you are wrong is tiring.

You do realize the initial conversation was size of First Ladies staff, right? You didn't just follow one rabbit hole but a field of 'em.

Did some apparently leave the food program? I guess so. Did the Trump administration make significant changes to the program? Yes. What does any of that have to do with MO vs. MT staff sizes? You did inadvertently prove why MO had a bigger staff. The program required policy and rule changes which mean lobbying. It also meant working with and for schools directly. Compare that to a few speeches on anti-bullying.

Wow
That was some amusing dancing.
I see the new Dem motto, " I am confused" is so applicable.
I give you a 7.

Nah...you still haven't acknowledged that the Trump admin made changes to the program. If I get a 7...you failed to finish thus an "incomplete". Giving you the benefit of the doubt rather than a 0.

Meanwhile...back to the staff conversation. There is a "First 100 days" thread if you want to flaunt your wee wee about school lunch programs.

I'm saying that Ms Obama's Let's Move program had coordinated activities, partnerships and lots of content.

Ah ... so when Mrs. Trump deploys a similar program and has a staff of 25/so ... that won’t be a problem???

I’m fairly certain this referenced comparison is of the PERSONAL staff ... not simply a mini agency working on PSAs with the FLOTUS as the “director.”

I'd tie the size of the staff to the effort/effectiveness of the program. It's traditional for the First Lady to have a single issue agenda item and a staff to move it forward.

thank goodness we did not have to keep this parting gift from Obama

Hmm ... but this comparison is of the personal staff ... yes? not the touchy-feely for FLOTUS validation. Mrs Obama had a squadron. Mrs. Trump, not even a platoon.

"Personal staff"? Aren't we talking about the Office of the First Lady of United States? That's professional staff.
