We must be very, very careful of those who claim to "know" what God thinks. Whether they be Xtian or Muslim.

Crockett- I dont care about homosexuals or what they do unless there is a possibility that public policy will change in that regard without the will of the people.
The line is what society says it is, not what a group of sexual deviants want it to be.
Does the argument that they were born that way apply to other sexual deviants such as those engaging in pedophilia, necrophelia, beastiality or incest??? I see no difference or care about their urges or how they came about them.
Somehow, a small contingent has decided that homosexuals should not be part of the sexual deviant group and has pushed that agenda. Society has rejected that thought process.
I find it amusing that people find one sexual deviance is better than another.

Ivan -- I find sexual exploitation of the innocent and nonconsenting as bad. Sex between consenting adults in a private setting, not so bad.

I don't think popularity should be the guidelines for assigning civil liberties, but hey maybe the Nazis had it right.

Crockett- We are very much in agreement on what consenting adults can do, we need to stay out of the bedroom. A brother and sister or mother and son can be consenting adults, but not sure you should be considered a Nazi if you said it should be illegal for them to marry. Same as homosexuals. Society rejects incest marraige and also rejects homosexual marraige.
Just the way it is. Not sure how that makes the American public Nazis.

Well, in North Carolina, they also outlawed civil unions. That seems to step over the line from what can argued is a reasoned upholding of social mores into the realm of making things miserable for people whose sexual prefernce you disapprove.

I can guarantee that 99% of the people that voted one way or another in the NC referendum didn't have much grasp on the legality, morality and transformation of the law in the Christian Bible.
