Kepernick absolutely sucked as a QB his last season.

He also had an NFL tryout scheduled with 11 teams and he unilaterally changed it to a location 60 miles away two hours before the tryout was to start. Not sure how interviews at McDonalds are done in Oklahoma, which may be confusing you, but it has been my experience that the interviewee neither tells the interviewer where he is willing to hold an interview, nor changes the pre-arranged location to a location 60 miles away two hours before the 11 interviewers were set to review the qualifications of said interviewee. Hell, he could kneel down and be a ***** anywhere, so why run away just before the interview?

I feel confident in saying that if any team thought Kaepernick could help them win more games, they would have signed him long ago.

I think the owners determined that their fan bases wouldn't respond all that well with it. Kind of like the Dixie Chicks and radio programmers in the mid 00's. It was a business decision. I get it. But, don't act like the right doesn't cancel people.

As alluded to by some, the creepy/touchy/kissy stuff is bad enough, but it's minor compared to the nursing home Cornonavirus deaths AND the ensuing cover up. He and his underlings basically killed a bunch of elders and then tried to cover it up.

If nobody wants to see you play, they are not cancelling you, they are just ignoring you. The Dixie Chicks and Kaepernick alienated their own fans. Trump and Dr. Seuss only alienated Libs, which are obviously not friendly to them. If somebody doesn't want to read Dr. Seuss, don't buy the book. Having the publisher stop publishing the book, or cancelling someone's ability to tweet or post on facebook, which I would imagine are the two largest social media sites, does not allow people to ignore the opinions with which they disagree. It eliminates everyone's ability to read the information.

I'd like someone more consistently conservative than Abbott, but I will take Abbott every day of the week if it means nobody as weak as Beta in that office.

Back to Cuomo, the Party has decided they are tired of him, and have cut him loose. They no longer need him as a backup presidential candidate, nor as someone to lavish praise on for his handling of the Wuhan virus, compared to President Trump. He no longer is of any use to the advancement of the Democrat party - in fact he's a hinderance, as the black woman Attorney General of NY wants that job.

So, the Party lets stories about how he's harassed women, including members of his staff, to be released. There's nothing new about any of these stories - they've been around for years. But when he had value, they were quashed, and his accusers were told they would be professionally and publicly destroyed if they continued to accuse him.

And it's not like these women needed a whole lot of pressure - they were merely told that to harm Andrew Cuomo was to harm the Party, and all the great and glorious things the Party represents.

His staff are such true believers in the Party that they would gladly allow themselves to be harassed, felt up, or if needed, raped by Andrew Cuomo, if the alternative was that the Party would be damaged.

But with the Party cutting Cuomo loose, these loyal Party members can now tell the truth, without worry that it would damage their life's work. So more and more stories are coming out of him being a creep and pervert.

As with all dictators, Cuomo was equally feared, and hated. Now without Party protection, all the people he's treated like trash are now emboldened to come out and gain their revenge. It's a beautiful thing to see. It's like watching the evil bastard ruler from Game of Thrones being eaten by his own starving dogs.

Where is his brother now to pull out a giant Q-tip as a prop gag as they engage in incest on live TV? Or have the human douche and *** hole remora fish Steve Colbert call him "Your Excellency", right after tongue cleaning his **** stained ******* in the dressing room? How the Party elite have fallen.

I think this may be why they arent hanging him for his nursing home policies. Four democrat governors would have to answer for it as well.

"The Chicks" are the first thing I ever recall the right canceling. The funny thing is it wasn't even a coordinated effort. They pissed off their fan base so much they all just stopped listening to them and attending their concerts. Its not like someone was leading an effort like BLM. The left had been doing this my entire life, but at that point I realized I can do it too so I figured why should lefties have all the fun. I'm really trying to cancel Nike, but I'm pretty sure I'm alone in that. I'm also trying to cancel the putrid attention ***** Alyssa Milano but thats not going well either.

not alone on Nike. My sons know it as "never Nike" in my house. I'll wear WalMart before I ever wear Nike again. Voting with your dollar is the best way to vote. The democrats moved the ball on their issues with three major levers. We probably won't win the "bad press" battle for the foreseeable future, but we can still push lawsuits and boycotts.

I'm hoping for the day that someone takes a major employer to court for firing them based on political statements they made on their own time in a public forum. That will turn the tide in my opinion.

Working on a "futurist" project for our firm this quarter that is contemplating how work will look down the road. Most of the other participants are pretty sold on a largely WFH future. At most it looks like we will settle back with a 2-day in the office model. Several biz leaders have already said as much and I think many more will follow. New York city is going to implode. Many of the people with money are moving out and so is their disposable income that supported restaurants and shops. the domino effect is going to bring that place to its knees in the next year.

There really is a difference between the cancelling of the ditsy chicks (now temporarily known as the chicks - until they realize "chicks" is degrading to women) and what the left is doing to anyone who disagrees. Fans and certain DJs chose to stop buying and playing ditsy chicks songs. The ratings of the stations that continued to play them fell. So more stations stopped playing them. So it was more like a boycott than a cancellation. Libs used to love boycotts. Now boycotts are cancelled.

I think "liberal hypocrisy" has become your catchphrase but most of the NY Congressional delegation has called on Cuomo to resign.

Alas, if you are really interested in hypocrisy then compare the D's handling of Cuomo vs. the R's handling of Trump. Similar claim, less voluminous for Cuomo. One party seems to be collecting around excising a "darling" while the other assaulted the Capitol Building in an effort to keep their guy in power. The blindspot you sport can't be more dramatic than that.
