I did not watch the finalie and I am very disappointed Aaron won. Honestly, I cannot remember anything he cooked that the judges liked. He has zero personality in front of the camera. Here is another Food Network Star that no one will watch.
Futhermore, I cannot believe there is no place to email the Food Network to express our displeasure with their choice.
If this is what they are going to do with this show, it needs to become history. It is not bringing in people who would be a valid star on their network.
It is a little schitzy too. They want cooks but the challenges really call for the contestant to be a trained chef.
Maybe the producers didn't think any of them would make good show material and decided to pick the worst on-screen talent to win and have him fizzle quickly to avoid a trainwreck.
I agree that none of the three finalist were top shelf candidates to host a show.
Although last year I thought Rory had a better chance of being a host that I would watch than the girl that won.
I think it is time they canned their "The Next Food Network Star" programming.
I notice they are bringing several new hosts on with their own show. I do not remember her name but there is the blonde chef that I think was Duff's mentor. I try to watch her but she is so OCD I start feeliing jerky.
There are several old hosts I would like their shows to be in better time slots. Nigella, Sarah, and Ellie all are great but it is hard to find their shows.
I want to see less of Guy and Rachel. I do like them and their shows but they are showing them too much and too often. I am more apt to change the channel when their program is being shown. Also Mrs. Neely shaking her tail does absolutely nothing for me and I do not want to watch it during Road Tasted.
